I ordered delivery from Jade Isle the other day and let me just say that it was the most disgusting Chinese food that I have ever had! The chicken lo mein smelled rotten and tasted even worse!! I let my friend try it so that I knew it wasnt just me and he said it was bad and to throw it out. The short ribs sounded delicious on the menu but when I got them, there were little pieces of bone throughout as though it had been chopped up, so with every bite I was watching out for bits of bones. The crab rangoon wasnt even that good. I had a couple, as they didnt make me want to throw up like the lo mein but I threw the rest out as I didnt even feel the need to want to save them as leftovers. The black pepper sauce that came with the short ribs and the rice were the only two good things. What a waste of $30.

My father brought me here when I came to visit from NYC. I was thinking what kind of crappy NJ chinese food am I going to have today on my mind To my surprise. I was amazed my the authenticity to the food. From the Dim sum to the vegetables to the beef chow fun (really hard dish to make right) I was absolutely delighted. As a American born cantonese chinese living in Chinatown NYC, a person thats eaten at most of the so called better restaurants in NJ and a foodie that has enjoyed food from around the world and all over Hong Kong as well. I can tell you, if you want great authentic Chinese (Cantonese) food this is one of the best places to go in NJ. If show and aestheticsee are more important than the actual food this is not the place to go.

I moved into the neighborhood from NYC and thought I would try this place. I happen to come in Sat. night where they had a DJ/ Karoake host from NYC, Brandon Deuralde! Ive heard about his shows and was so pleasantly surprised to see him here! Originally,my friends and I were going to order some take-out, but we decided to eat in and enjoy the entertainment! WOW! This guy puts on a fantastic show and there were a few singers there that could compete on American Idol! My friends and I had a delicious meal and shared this delicious Kava Bowl drink that was served in this volcano-looking bowl and set with a flame in the middle! We had an awesome time!! I plan to make this my regular Saturday night spot!

This place reminded me of the old-time restaurant, you can feel the glory date it served 10-20 years ago. The food is good for its price, decent service for they might serve food over your shoulder and may knocked down your bottle of wine, lol. I give it a 4-stars for it’s as close to authentic HONG KONG dim sum as you can get in USA without flying 8000 miles there. I can’t give it a "5-stars chef" if actually compare to real 5-star dim sum or restaurant in Asia or in HK (seriously!). But, I DO LOVE THIS PLACE for it’s affordability, lovely friendly staffs, good for easy going and fun place to be with friends.

This was an excellent place 25 years ago, went down hill. Very filthy. When you walk in your greeted to a live lobster tank with green slimy water. Ceiling tiles has black mold growing from them especially over the cash register. The place smells moldy. I definitely wont eat there anymore or order take out. What a shame. The board of health every so often closes them down.

I grew up in this place and saw the evolution of the menu. In the beginning, they catered to basic American staples, eggrolls and fried rice. They obviously still serve these items that you can get at any PF Changs, Ruby Fus or Panda/Sarku if youre in an airport but the truth is, you want real Cantonese and dont want to go into NY...this is your place.

The food was ok. The 12 hours of food poisoning afterwards was very bad. There are a plethora of Chinese food places in this area. I recommend that you go to one of those instead. Maybe I was just unlucky, but let me tell you, I would never risk going there again.

Excellent authentic Cantonese cooking. You have to know what to order though. Recommend popcorn shrimp, lobster in ginger scallion, steamed carp, tofu appetizer.

The best Chinese food Ive tasted in the US. The prices are very good! Try the teriyaki beef or the mango chicken. The drinks are strong and very reasonable.

Great service, cheap, and close to HK styled dim sum. Note: this isnt a fancy place but considering the price, quantity, and service it is great value.

Dim sum was good. Interior and exterior are dated and could use a refresh. The parking lot would not look out of place in the middle of a war zone.

People were nice but the food was rough outside of the sweet and sour chicken for the kids.

Service real slow. Waited 30 min for a plate. Food was okay, not great.
