I am a local here on LBI. My wife and I are lucky enough to enjoy Zen all year long. The food is wonderful and as good or better than you will get in the New York City area. The seafood is very fresh. The staff are all friendly and attentive. I am a huge fan. I have been going to Zen since it opened. I used to work in NYC and have experienced the finest restaurants. Zen although it is in a resort community is very good and a very good value. Lunch specials are particularly good values. Go to Zen. I will probably be there. Enjoy!

My first time at Zen Sushi Asian Cuisine....Two words - "The Best!" Everything was amazing and fresh. Friendly helpful staff and a very clean and comfortable restaurant. I was ecstatic savoring every bite. I will return shortly. Sweet n Sour Soup, Garlic Tuna Tataki was top notch, none better. Then I had what I thought was my usual basic "Rainbow Roll." Well, its not basic here. Once again, phenomenal. I highly recommend Zen Sushi, and I will be returning shortly for sure.

Excellent variety & choices. One of the best sushi menus Ive seen. Rated 3 stars because the sushi rice was too damp/wet so nori for a salmon skin hand roll wasnt crisp. Other roles didnt always hold together because of the moisture content of the rice. I dont know if this is consistent or just today or because of the humidity at the shore.

What a great menu, a BOOK with pictures! It was hard to pick just one, so we didnt. Everything was presented beautifully and tasted fresh and delicious. Look for a coupon in the Sandpaper, there sometimes is a deal in there.

Fabulous flavors. Very fresh. Great ambience. Great service. Every bite was better than the last. Hard to choose my favorite dish! Includes some Chinese, mostly Japanese dishes from apps to noodles.

Best sushi in the area. We got our order to go, so we didnt get the entire restaurant experience. The menu provides a wide variety of options and everything tasted fresh.

Parking is a bit of a chore. Food and atmosphere are amazing! The menu is a photo book, beautifully done. Had the pineapple fried rice, it was perfect!
