* Healthy Garden did not provide discount as promised * Website conveys confusing information * Actions considered a bit underhanded/disrespectful * Portions were small; not worth being the most expensive item on the list * Very disappointed After a board meeting, decided to order from the online menu. Shortly after the order was placed, a call was received from the cashier at 8:55pm stating that they had closed already (they are supposed to close at 9pm). He apologized for my having to cancel the order and offered a 10% discount on the next order. The following day, proceeded to order online again. The process asks you to pick to an entree. On the first page, the entree picked was listed as "australian lamb chops, quinoa and seasoned vegetables". The next page asks you to pick 2 sides to be included with the order and there were no extra charges listed for the sides. The mashed potatoes and split pea soup were picked. The order was sent and it was assumed that everything was fine because no calls were received from the restaurant. It was a good 1-1.5 hrs before going to pick up the order, and it was expected that the 10% discount would be given without any hassle. At pickup, the cashier immediately remembered that he promised the discount but then said that it was prepaid so he could not apply it, and that the mashed potatoes were given instead. Instead? It was being explained to him that, according to the website, the mashed potatoes are included in the order. He said that the entree was a complete meal and there would have been an extra charge for the side. The website stated no extra charges for the sides. This was not fair. Why didnt the restaurant call if there was an issue, like they did previously? Next, while explaining the above to him, he walks away to get the soup and when he returns, says, "ok, you got everything you ordered". It was considered a bit disrespectful to just walk away when interacting with/speaking to a customer, and then make it sound as if the customer should just take the food and leave. In the end, no 10% discount was given as promised. As far as the food goes, the meat of the lamb chops looked a little bigger than the face of a hand watch. Definitely not worth $24, the most expensive item on the list. Overall, extremely disappointed with this experience.

With a name like "Healthy Garden, Natural Food Restaurant" Id imaging there would be some organic items on the menu. This was not the case. There was almost nothing organic. That said, the food was tasty and they gave a pretty healthy portion although i thought it was a bit pricey. Although i ordered 4 oz of wheat grass juice right away when my order was taken, it did not arrive until after i not only was served my lunch but was halfway through eating it. So i asked for the wheat grass juice "to go" and they packaged it very nicely with a few pieces of cut pineapple and strawberries After our lunch was served i looked for our server to come back to us ask how everything is but i didnt see her. When she did return she reeked of cigarette smoke! Totally unappealing, particularly while dining. i also asked for a container to take the remainder of my salad with me but unfortunately i forgot and left without it. When we returned to collect the food wed left behind we were told they had already cleaned the table and tossed everything into the trash. Id give them "room for improvement in the area of service. Oh, and the music was unnecessarily loud, since there were NOT a lot of people in the place it was not noisy. I would have made a different selection for the genre of music that was playing, i think it was rap music, or something similar. In my opinion it was not a good music selection to dine by.

First-visit review, but great service and quality food. Will revisit and ping that 5th star if it holds. A friend and I originally ordered take-out, and got there around the time the food would be ready (20 min or so). At the last minute, we decided to eat in instead because we didnt want to deal with the mess at home. They were finishing our order when I told them about dining in, and we were ready to just grab a table and eat out of the take-out bags, but they were kind enough to plate everything and serve it to our table without our asking. On top of that, the staff was very friendly. Consummate courtesy. I had a tzatziki chicken wrap - was fresh and flavorful, no overly bold or soggy with sauce. Cajun fries - warm and nicely spiced. Washed it down with a "Body Cleanser" juice (carrots, cucumbers, beets, apples). They have much more exciting menu items (its a huge menu), but we decided to play it safe on our first go. The highlight for me is definitely the array of juices. My friend ordered a drink called the "Cholesterol Reducer", which contains carrots, apples, ginger, and GARLIC. We knew this going in, and it did not disappoint. We both tried it, and it burned a hole through each our chests - but if it burns that bad going down, it has to be good for you right? Cant wait to revisit and give their hot entrees a go.

This review has been months in the making. My girlfriend and I have been going to Healthy Garden for months now. The food is always fantastic, however the service has been getting worse as time passes. Three weeks ago we placed an order through their website and after getting confirmation we did not get our food delivered. I called and they said that they did not get our order even though my card was charged. It took them another 45 minutes to deliver afterwards. They gave me a 20% discount my next order, which went fine, and we were upset but satisfied. Last Thursday we decided to go for lunch and after sitting down for approximately 10 minutes we walked out as we saw other people sit down and get their orders taken before us. Now it is Valentines Day my girlfriend is sick so I decided to order her favorite food. After ordering for delivery again I write this review because we did not get our juices delivered with our food, and while the driver said he would be back, this is getting ridiculous. Also the delivery was a half hour after they said it would be. It is a real shame because the food is always great, a consistent $45 bill is always ordered. I hope that the owner reads this because I truly do love this place, but enough is enough you can not treat your customers like this.

A client of my recommended this place when I told her I had a gluten allergy and was very limited with what I could eat. She informed me that they have gluten free wraps, organic food and they are very caring and careful when it comes to allergies. The way she described the food even made my coworkers mouths water, and they are not ones to eat organic. So since they have many options on the menu we decided to give it a try. I must say her recommendation exceeded itself! The gluten free wraps are delicious! They are light and soft and not chalky like other wraps. Their food is fresh and clean. After you eat here you dont feel stuffed and bloated you feel satisfied, full and good since you are putting good into your body! I would highly recommend this place to anyone! They do deliver, but depending on where you live it does take almost an hour, but it is so worth it!!
