Was charged full price for food with chefs hair in it! When I first started going here it was a great experience. The food was very good and the place was quaint. Service was good and I was ready to make this a regular place for me. However I went here for dinner on sat night and was very disappointed with my experience. The dining area was cold and the spring roll appetizer was fried but still cold on the inside. The pad Thai was good as usual but the drunken noodles were sub-par and the vegetables were underdone. The final straw which has ensured I will NEVER go back is the fact that I found a hair in my food which was very clearly not mine or my friends...we both have long curly hair and this was short, black, and clearly a mans. I brought this to the attention of the owner and all he did was offer me iced tea to go....its winter and I had already eaten half the meal. I was charged the full amount for my dinner which as far as Im concerned is inexcusable. I have worked at multiple restaurants and never once has a costumer had to pay for food with hair in it. I thought this was simply common restaurant procedure and I left feeling disgusted and ripped off. I will never go again or recommend it to anyone I know.

Proud Thai is a very welcoming and friendly local restaurant. The folks that greeted us appeared to be owners and family, and they were very helpful in explaining the dishes and making recommendations. For the spicy dishes, you can specify a heat level: low, medium or high. Suffice to say, high will blow your socks off. We had a mixture of shrimp, chicken and tofu dishes, using rice and noodles. All were excellent. We will certainly return to this friendly little gem, only taking our respective heat levels down a notch next time ;)

Update: A year later and this is "our place". Still solid food, solid service. Love this place! My family and I have enjoyed many dinners here - we get the Pad See Ew and it is maybe the best Pad See Ew weve had. I get the Pad Cashew and it is delish! A family run place, the dining room is cozy, maybe not a great place for a huge party. But the owners are so sweet and all the staff have always welcomed us like were family. And food is YUM.

Excellent food-- nice diverse menu. Good local spot with delivery. I had the chicken in panang curry-- loved it. Spring rolls are fresh-- lightly fried and crispy with a good taste. Entire family involved with cooking and presenting meals. Friendly owners and chefs working the kitchen. Any place that has a Thai grandma back there in the kitchen working up the meals-- Im there. And Im going back for sure.

I ordered lunch today, the shrimp basil fried rice. This isnt the first time Ive ordered from this establishment, the food is usually awesome! But today was awful I bit one of the shrimp and it was rotten, the taste was awful. I then proceeded to smell the shrimp and yup it also smelled rotten. I highly doubt Ill be ordering from them again.....so disappointed!

This really is the best thai food in NJ. We work 20 mins away but come here at least once a week. Lunch is $8-9 and comes with soup or salad and a little spring roll. Probably my favorite thing about this place is that spicy REALLY means spicy. I get medium and still get my sinuses cleared out each time. Highly recommended

Delicious food and nice staff. Mom and Pop place with a good feel. Small but the food is so good. Drunken noodles were delicious. Mango salad very tasty, plenty to eat and enough to take home. Medium spice was just right for us, but they were very concerned it would be too spicy ;) well be back.

Our go to Thai place. The food is wonderful, flavorful, and authentic. The owners are very personable and have on occasion thrown in little extras. Although were just outside their delivery zone, theyre still willing to bring the food to us, and faster than some closer places. Were fans.

Everything weve had there was tasty. Calamari, Drunken Noodle, Rad Nah, and Prad Khing, and Thai Iced Tea. Staff was very friendly. Not cheap, but not terribly expensive. Worth it, though.
