Yesterday was my 7th visit to (and great experience at) S&P ~ 3 lunches, 4 dinners and I have never been disappointed. Each of Chef Leias creative seasonal menus has introduced me to at least one dish that becomes my newest "Im hooked on this" favorite. This season its her Crispy Cauliflower app. In all my experience, there was only one disappointment but when my dining partner expressed that to our waiter, he immediately apologized, snatched up the plate, and asked if she would like a redo or something else on the menu. And Chef Leia later came to our table and apologized that our expectations were not met and hoped the replacement dish was satisfactory. I wish more chefs/restaurants would take a page from her playbook. Shout out, too, to the wait staff, especially Kevin and Alex who couldnt have been more courteous, accommodating, and attentive. Ill be back!

Perfect addition to Morristown. Theres nothing like this restaurant in town. I almost didnt want to write a review because I wanted to keep this place a secret, its so good. The food was excellent and unique. I love that the menu changes seasonally. It was a very summery menu when I was there and I cant wait to see what the other seasons bring. Its also great that its BYO, always a plus in this town. Cant wait to go back with a bottle of wine so they can make some sangria for the table! The staff was also excellent. On our way out, every server said goodbye and "have a nice evening". Every one. Im not exaggerating. I think at least 4 or 5 servers all said bye to us. The table service was also great. I wish this place was bigger, though, because it will be mobbed with people soon! I recommend going ASAP before it becomes impossible to get a table!

Really neat spot in Morristown to grab a bite to eat. The food is outrageously good - we ordered the Yellow nut Squash Soup, Veggie Chowder, Kale Salad, Steak Sandy, Jersey Bene and Salmon Club - all of it was so outstanding. Service on the other hand was good, but not great. As an open kitchen concept and sitting directly across from the kitchen, you could literally see that the food timing was not done well as items sat in the window and the delivery was off by minutes. Additionally, the table service was awkward as well. Seems like a new place, so Im not going to kill them on that as the ambience and food is just really good.

One of the best dining experiences in ages. We took my husband for Fathers Day and every single item we ordered was outstanding. I had the Quinoa bowl and added chicken that was made to perfection. My daughter said her scallop dish was one of the best shes ever tasted, and she LOVES scallops. The place is a BYOB and they have great summer drinks, such as the Mango Ginger Tea. Dessert (a berry cobbler) was awesome. Id like to give a huge shout out to Jessica and our entire wait staff. There were terrific, attentive and very willing to make our dining experience terrific ... Kudos to Jessica.

This was one of the best freshest meals that I have had in a while. The dishes were all simple yet delicious. BYOB or you can enjoy one of the nonalcoholic items that pair well with your meal. I found those options a refreshing change from trying to find the right wine or beer to go with dinner. At most restaurants you are stuck with water or a soft drink if you dont or cant drink alcohol. This really enhances your experience. I wish more restaurants would start offering these options.

My husband and I were so happy to find out about South and Pine! We love to eat out when it is worth it, but it rarely is. S&P has done it right, offering a different style of farm fresh menu not duplicated anywhere else , enjoyable atmosphere, BYOW, and excellent service. Chef/owner Leah greeted us at door and was friendly, professional, and clearly knows how to bring it all together. A great experience all around and worth every penny!

Most amazing food and staff at this restaurant. Decor is amazing; rustic and glam all at the same time. Successful anniversary dinner with my husband. The chef was really nice and came to our table to wish us. We were treated to dessert, which was heavenly. Our server Eddie was awesome and took good care of us. Thank you south+pine for making our night special. Definitely recommended.

Good place to eat. Went with the family and they made brunch for my son despite being dinner time. The burgers are great, my wifes fried chicken was outstanding (which is why we went). I had a veggie bowl of quinoa and kale. It was ok - but honestly it may be just I was jealous of my wifes chicken. Also it is BYO like many places in Mo-Town but the wine store down the block is great.

The food is quite good but menu is expensivr. There are interesting options. Dessert is a bit lackluster. Parking can be an issue due to location. Also, the decor is a bit odd with random doors on the wall. It doesnt detract a whole lot but it does confuse. A bit pricey but better than other options in the area.

My wifes scallops were not seasoned well and the strawberry shortcake for dessert was not as fresh as expected. However, the duck tacos were excellent, and lamb rigatoni had good flavors. Also, the fried chicken had good flavors but was extremely overpriced for the portion size.
