I’m giving Organica 1 star for their customer service. I am very disappointed on how they handled me today. I eat lunch there every day. I have been purchasing lunch, produce and products at this establishment for over 10 years. I have been loyal thru their expansion. I raved about them to my patients, encouraged and refer many of them to visit Organica. This is why my heart sinks today. I drove my usual route from Orangeburg NY to Organica in Northvale NJ. I purchased my lunch (veggie burger and salad) and returned to work to enjoy my lunch. As I sank my fork into the veggie burger, I notice something hanging from the side. Upon close examination, I noticed a long stand of hair. I WAS DISGUSTED!!! I called and explained my situation and the lady on the phone told me to “chuck it in the garbage, well credit you when you come back” …..??? I was confused??? Not once did she ask me for my name. I had to tell her Im coming back now because I don’t think my word will mean anything the next day. When I got there, I spoke to someone at the register. As I was talking to her, the owner came by (I recognized him because he provided product information/suggestion to me in the past and introduce himself as the owner) and asked what was going on? She explained, he look at the fork then looked at me, made a face of disgusted and walked away. No apologies??? How can I make it better??? I wasted the whole 1 hour of my lunch break….. And all you can do is make faces? The only positive moment was the lady at the register that processes my refund, as she was sweet and apologetic. Im thinking twice about giving my business to them again.

This shop has a vast selection of delightful vegetarian foods. They have great prices, and lots of sales here and there on certain products. Theres also a nice sized deli in the back for a quick meal before you leave. This is a huge store in my opinion. (Compared to all the of N.Y.s small spots Ive been to) It is a not TOO big where you have to wander around looking for things, and not to small where you are feel cramped and/or are not getting a wide array of what you want. Everything is well organized for easy findings. The employees are very friendly and are always willing to help customers. Overall = 5/5 experience from someone whos been to many Natural Foods Markets, and Whole Foods delis. Definitely worth checking out.

I want to commend the produce buyer and manager. For years, I have found the produce at Organica impeccable. Highest quality, all organic. I feel like whom ever manages the produce really cares, believes in presenting the highest quality product. It is one of the main reasons I come to Organica. One other comment. I also love your prepared food bar. High quality and much of it organic. Love you guys!!!! Please keep it up. It will be your very high standards and commitment to quality and excellence that will keep you from falling victim to big corporate stores like Whole Foods. Cheers Bryce

I had a wrap from their deli, and came down with Salmonella poisoning hours later. When I brought this up to Management/Diane, they basically said "sorry.. nothing we can do for you"...yeah great thanks alot. I have no healthcare to pay for the medical bills and/or prescriptions. For a place that promotes healthy eating, youd think theyd be empathetic to the fact that someone got sick from their product...their so called healthy food. I didnt even get any willingness to help pay my medical bills. Definitely going to report this to health food officials. Never going to this place ever again...

The place is pricey. Its a boutique organic food store, so yeah. But damn is it worth it! Amazing store with very nice staff and clientele. Go to the food bar in the back. You will leave impressed and the taste will impress you even more. Full disclosure, my wife used to work there back in HS. But think of your HS job...not exactly the glory days, right? Yeah, so that should further make up your mind that this is a good place to go to. Her working there in the past should really take stars away. BUT NOPE. She STILL loves going back. We are frequent flyers.

I always come here for lunch, there are lots of vegan and gluten free options. The vegan chocolate chip cookies have walnuts and are really good. Tofu salad is good, the tuna salad is wonderful, and the fakin bacon wrap is fantastic. But the SALMON, oh my god. Honey glazed, Tuscan, however theyre making it that day, you need to get it and eat it immediately. Like in the parking lot. Hot or cold, its always perfectly cooked and melts in your mouth.

This is a true country good grocery market! Great local organic and natural selection of foods, high quality body and skin care brands, juice bar, large variety of quality supplements, homeopathic remedies and herbals. The hot kitchen cooking is diverse and outstanding everytime. Best news is the staff is in their integrity; honest, helpful and knowledgeable. Weve been shopping there for years and yes, they have sales and specials too!

Pristine produce department and bulk foods area. Love their prepared foods, particularly the turkey chili, which is a seasonal item. Soups could use more flavor, but by and large, the prepared foods are made with finesse and thought. Good options for gluten-free and vegan folks. Quality products. Knowledgeable sales staff, especially in the supplements area.

Its an ok organic one stop shop. Small place that just fits the needs of most health nuts. Would have been 3 stars if not for the juice bar. Its no Jamba juice but a decent alternative. Varying selection of gluten-free, vegan etc options that you just cant get at regular supermarket.

Quality offerings here for all you organic freaks. Hot meals include breakfast lunch and dinner, all prepared fresh daily, served by real people. Whole foods and boxed, canned goods available here, so your pantry can be as fresh as your garden without all the watering and planting.

Best example of eating healthy can be delicious!!!! This is best organic grocery store by far and local owned with everything you could need and impeccable attention to detail. :) I would give it 10 stars if I could!!! A total gem. Wish they were a little closer to home.
