Me and my friend, both African American professionals, stopped into this restaurant for dinner after work. The hostess, an older woman with a short black bob, simply stared at us (no greeting) and I told her dinner for 2. She told us it was a 20 minute wait. We sat and chatted for 15 min as three white couples arrived in successive order, she greeted each couple. After another 10 minutes the same hostess returned with an open table.She indicated all three of the white couples who had arrived AFTER us and told them the table was ready. one of the gentlemen who was indicated to follow stopped and asked us to go ahead of him and his date, as he had clearly seen what had happened. I politely told him to go ahead and be seated, and that would no be neccessary. The waitress came back and I asked her why she looked directly at us and indicated the other couples. With out looking at me she replied "I will seat you next once this table is clean" with no apology. Me and my friend debated on whether or not to leave and when she came back to seat us, I told her that it would not be neccessary and that we will take our business to the neighboring Ginza restaurant where Ive always recieved good service. We left. This situation could have been solved with a simple apology. I will NEVER dine at this restaurant based on this experience ever again.

My friends and I made reservations for dinner at 7:30. When we got to the restaurant it was packed and the hostess told us that they were running behind and that it would probably be 30 minutes. We waited 30 minutes and checked with them to see if we were going to be sat soon. They told us that it would probably be another 30 minutes b/c they were taking walk-ins that had been waiting longer. I understand that it was busier than normal- but the point of the reservation is that you should be sat before people walk-in. I also feel that if they were running over an hour behind they should have called to let customers know. We left and went somewhere else.

The food is great and worth the wait even though it can be long at times, like 20 minutes and even to an hour at times depending on how busy it is. But if you havent eaten at a place like this its a thing to experience especially with the fire show they do on the grill. Meals are around $20 but with all that comes with it is worth it. A perfect place for a romantic date or an adventure. The only negative thing is the bathrooms are filthy.

Ive never had an issue when comng here, the staff is usually professional if not friendly, even though they do seem a bit rushed. The food is normally fantastic, and the chefs usually put up a good show (most of them occasionally you get a bad one). The price is standard for a hibachi restaurant, their alcoholic beverages are decently priced and very tastey.

Food was absolutely excellent. Highly recommend filet mignon med rare, meat was very tender. Veggies tasted fresh and flavorful. Adequate interaction from the chef and an all around positive atmosphere. Prices were reasonable considering what you got in the whole meal (avg 30/person) including appetizer/side/drink. Worth it!

I have been going here for years since it opened. The food is ranges from great at times to just ok. I love the shrimp and of course the steak. Best appy is the mushrooms they are GREAT. The experience will vary depending on which cook you get. None of them are bad just some are more fun then others.

If a restaurant is always packed, you know the reason must be because they are good! Friendly staff and nice hibachi chefs that always put on a good show. Besides the hibachi tables they also have a separate room for those that only want sushi

Went here for my birthday dinner and it was really great. The food was absolutely delicious and their specialty drinks were yummy! Cant wait to go back to try their sushi. The hibachi chef was very nice and entertaining. Definitely go!
