BEWARE: Service and food is subpar!!! I rarely write a review unless I feel it is validated and this one is. I took my wife and my 3 yr old son to try out their burgers and it was also 2 for 1 burger night. After a 45 min wait time we got sat at our table. After another 10min I had to ask the manager for a server. We waited another 45 minutes for 2 burgers and chicken fingers. The burgers left much to be desired. The manager came over and asked how everything was and when I told her politley the food was "ok. It felt like it was missing something." she gave me a blank stare and said "she had never heard that before", grabbed one of our empty plates and walked away. When they brought us our bill the server said "one burger is free(as if they comped us)." Well yes its 2 for 1 so 1 burger should be free, correct? She replied "oh did you want the manager to do something else?" We left at that point. My parents who have been to Edgars many times and planned to check this place out after hearing our experience my father said they will not be going there.

We are less than impressed with restaurant. It is very loud and having a conversation without yelling is impossible. Which, as one would expect, makes it louder inside. The inside us clean and looks nice, but its time to update the mens room. The food was very bland and unappetizing. We started with the peal & eat shrimp but Im unsure if they are fresh or not. They were the best part of the meal though. We also had a steam pot (for two) and that too was very bland. The tastiest thing in the steam pot was the NJ Corn on the Cob! The wait staff couldnt be bothered to check on us. We had to ask for everything --- plates, butter, bread, drink refills, etc. It took over 5 minutes to refill my beer. In short, this is worst restaurant we have been to in the area.

I threw my 30th birthday party here and I could not have been more pleased with how the whole day turned out. Chris was extremely easy and helpful in terms of helping me plan. I just wanted an open bar for my friends and family but Reef and Barrel went above and beyond. He helped organize a band and was extremely flexible on what we could do in terms of wristbands for those participating in the open bar and a tab for those who would only have a drink or two. He also set up a portion of the bar itself and area for seating nearby. Food was great and staff, especially Marybeth, was attentive. I would 100% recommend Reef & Barrel for anyone hosting an event. I live down the street and come here frequently too for drinks, sports and live music. Great place!

Horrible food, tiny sandwich, had to pay $2 extra for fries, took forever to come out. When it finally did come out, it was cold. This place has the most ridiculous prices! And you basically get nothing! Very very dissatisfied and pissed off that I spent $45 for myself, my husband, and my son to eat there. And dont order the coffee, because its just instant coffee. They charge you $2.50 for coffee they cant even take time to brew. They need Gordon Ramsey badly!!!

Had dinner here during a sleepy Sunday evening. Positive: +Food was delicious (goat cheese flatbread, fish &chips, and pierogies) +Manager checked in and asked us how our food was (during the app) +Great atmosphere Negative: -Waitress never refilled our drinks and didnt check in during our meal herself -Staff forgot to give us change for the bill and left us waiting for quite some time -Both of us had upset stomachs the day afterwards -Again, feeling pretty sick

Great place good is a little expensive got the tuna bites which were phenomenal. They taste they put in my palette was astonishing. I also got a pita flat bread w/ cheese and it was bland. Had to bring it home and put some balsamic vinegar on it to make it taste better. One of the other things I ordered was cripy jumbo shrimp, again bland. Tastes like when your a kid and the only thing you get is chicken fingers.

Phenomenal burgers and apps. The beers are ice cold and always reasonably priced. Id recommend the sunrise burger and the buffalo wings. The pizza is always tasty too. Great place to watch a game, always have a ton of TVs turned on to the right games and if you go with a big enough crew, they might even turn the sound on!

Great food, wonderful waitstaff and bartenders that made the establishment welcoming. The decor was bright and nautical like the shore itself, I never liked going into dark bar areas in resturants so this atmosphere was refreshing. Didnt have a large beer selection, but the simple drink menu that was good enough.

Nice place for a benefit. I attended one, and they had enough room for a separate display of the baskets. The food was pretty good, and the band was in a separate room but was still audible from the display room. I would like the floor and the bar areas to be a bit cleaner, but overall this is a nice location.

Spent my half an hour lunch break waiting for a charred burger that I could barely eat, but forced myself to because it was 15 dollars. They need to get rid of the chef, how do you mess up a burger.

Went to Edgars Pub last Thursday for the prime rib special. Great food, atmosphere and the price was right! Good service and a good choice of food and drinks. Definitely a place to try again.
