I went in for lunch with a small group. We had a wait of about 20-30 minutes, but they dont take your number or give you a buzzer, so you have to stick it out for the wait. I ordered the Pesto Skillet off the healthier menu. I didnt expect the pesto flavor to be exploding due to it being the healthier menu and pesto being pretty fatty, and that is what I got. The skillet was somewhat green, but thats about all you could get of pesto. Whats worse was the overload of onions. Im a big fan of onions, but after a few bites, I could not take eating anymore without starting to remove the vast majority of the onions. By the time I was done, the onion pile was scary big; how could they think that was a balanced dish? My wife also did not enjoy her dish, but the rest of the group was satisfied, but not thrilled. We were also forgotten about on a coffee refill, but the waitress made up for it by comping a coffee to go. Additionally, people seem to come as they are into this restaurant, including wearing their bathing suits into the restaurant and leaving sand around. However, its hard to judge the restaurant for that, as this seems like common practice in this area. Service was alright, the food was unimpressive, the wait time was not worth it, and the prices were more than I would want for a sub-par meal. I wont be returning.

I wont bore you with the horrible details. After seating for our brunch (party of 5) it took ten minutes to get a cup of coffee. 30 min. in we checked on our order. Our waiter was surprised we had not eaten...really...did you come and check on us? He asked us what our orders were. At 45 min and no food I started to get the shakes. My daughter got the manager and he told us he was unaware of this. Really? I never saw you circulate through our section to check. He told us the waiter was new. The waiter told us there was a kitchen problem. The manager came back with fruit for the table...really...when you have the shakes from low blood sugar you dont want sugar! The manager came to tell us they were firing our order. Fully an hour into being seated we received....two wrong orders of the five. We sent them back. Luckily mine was OK and I ate fast to remedy my shakes. Mine was polished off before two of our members received their meals. And one of them was still wrong. He ate it anyway. Wont be going back!

My favorite place for early breakfast with really big menu, very friendly staff and busy but charming atmosphere. Sometimes there is a wait, but no other place around will answer to your breakfast cravings like Turning Point. Try out their CC options, where you pick half of one dish and half of another one for the price of one, perfect for indecisive people like myself. Great coffee and tea selection, also fresh juices.

Customer service is completely terrible! Ambrya Lacks respect for the customers and is disrespectful in every way thats not explain the order and repeats back that if you dont like my face then thats too bad. Afterwords bring it to the attention of the supervisor Fraya and she is very nonchalant and says its not our problem. Great way to treat the person who contributes to keeping your business running, thanks!

This breakfast spot is the best in New Jersey. The place is clean and well upkept. The food is amazingly good and clean. Its employees are all very professional. They have great customer service here and amazing food. They deserve more than even 5 stars. The place was so good I had to come here twice.

Not sure what has happened to this restaurant. Service was slacking, coffee pot that was placed on the table was filthy, and I was served a breakfast skillet with totally raw onion and disgustingly brown avocado. Perhaps the other branches have maintained the quality. I will not be returning.

Overrated. The only things the Turning Point has going for it, are the coffees And locatiion. The food is sub-par, staff is unpleasant, and it is extremely overpriced. The Little Silver location use to be good when they first opened but that too has slipped.

Best brunch in the tri state area. I live in astoria NY. The beach right across the street is at worst average but the food at this place is sick. Ive been there 6 times and have had 6 different meals. Was thoroughly impressed with every single one of them.

Terrible customer service. Place was empty and they told me it would be a 25 minute wait. I laughed and walked out. Maybe the owner should actually manage this point. Your over priced food isnt even that great its typical diner fare.

We love this restaurant! Food is amazing, menu options are vast and such a treat! Good service, wonderful atmosphere, and fresh food. A cup of coffee is like a bowl! and the cappucino is great! Just wish the wait wasnt so long!

Not a welcoming environment, everybody looked like they didnt want to be there. I walked in and I guess I didnt look like everyone else so I was seated in the back. Not sure if I should read more into it but I wont be going back.

Food is good, service is OK, adjacent to the beach but no view, interior is interesting though. Pretty crowded compared to other locations. I find it to be overhyped but I would go again if Im in the area.

Quick service with a smile. Clean. Bright. Not rushed. Food was good quality and we simply had common breakfast (French toast and eggs). Its cool that you get your own French press.

A highly overrated breakfast and brunch place. Pancakes and eggs are good but not good enough for me to wait half hour for a table each and every weekend

Great wait staff and perfect place for outdoor morning breakfast in the summer. Try the chicken pesto panning. Oatmeal is also great.
