Went here with my boyfirend recently and we were told there was a 15 minute wait - we walked around and came back about 15 mintues later and were seated in an un-airconditioned room (mind you it was nearly 90 degrees outside) with 2 large parties of 8 adults each and a total of 2 toddlers and 3 infants. Beyond the crying children - it took 10 minutes for someone to come and take our order (we got water, an order of fruit bruschetta, toast and pancakes) After waiting for our meal for 30 minutes and trying to find someone that worked there, we asked if our food could be checked on and were rudely told it would only be a minute. 15 minutes later, with empty bellies, we got up and walked out, something I had never done and hope to never have to do again. It seems a bit crazy that no one would even stop by to apologize for the delay after being seated at a table for nearly an hour with nothing to eat.

I have been to turning point twice and was very impressed both times. I have ordered two types of french toast and both were delicious. This is also one of the only places I have found that actually squeezes their own orange juice (at $4 a glass though, but well worth it). My father, a coffee connoisseur in his own mind, told me that the coffee was very good. The prices are reasonable, maybe a little expensive, but you get what you pay for. Overall, a great place for a weekend breakfast or brunch.

The first time my husband and I split the prime dip, prime mac, and had the apples and bananas for dessert. We went last night with some friends and I got the GFC, which was much lighter than expected, he got the brisket tamales and we shared the elote off the cob. All of the food was fabulous and the service is amazing. Very excited about this place!! The patio is amazing for lazy dinners on summer nights. We will be going back.

Dudes like brunch too. Though turning point has a very "cute" interior, you cant beat the view of NYC and the Hudson River. The food is awesome here. One time I ordered a marsala bennedict and my friend tried a piece. She was hooked and we both agreed to order a second serving. Gluttons for life. Their coffee is outstanding here and when youve paid for your meal they always offer to give you coffee in a to-go cup. Great service.

Amazing brunch menu! Went on a Tuesday so there was no wait. As we walked in it seemed like a small cafe, but then there are 2 more cute dining rooms. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. I had the Tropical Crunch Waffle and it exceeded my expectations. The granola was the perfect texture of soft and crunchy, and the strawberry reduction sauce made the dish. Definitely a brunch spot to return to.

We ordered two skillets and pancakes, skillets were ok but pancakes were bit under cooked. I took two bites and complained to the waitress however she was not convinced and told "you could have told me before you took the bite". My point was how could have i know without tasting. I didnt want to argue, we left the pancakes and paid for the whole thing. Bit disappointed with the service and quality of food.

My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast and the food was awful. First time at this location, but routinely went to Long Branch location in Pier Village (food is 100x better in Long Branch location). Teapot that my tea came in had dried coffee on the exterior and my omelet was burnt. My boyfriends bacon egg and cheese looked like it was made with microwaved eggs. Will not be returning.

Came here for my brother birthday because that his favorite place for breakfast and I can definitely see why food was unbelievable great definitely will come back i work 6 days a great definitely will come by that one day off and Leslie is such an amazing server beautiful great smile I will also request her when I come again she made everything great cant wait to come back

WORST service ever! The server in charge of the bar table absolutely rude, without greeting still can be understood. After siting in for 10 mins I have to ask for order my food. Until the end I never heard any words from my server except before I got my bill she said "u all set?" Thats right, u deserved 0 tips from me. Never judge people by their appearance.

Walked a while to get there on a friends recommendation. The food was bad and the servers showed no interest in you. Worst soup ive ever had. It was as if they dropped an entire container of salt in it. I asked the waiter to send another type of soup and it was just as bad as the first. The only benefits are a great view and its BYOB.

I got here at 10:25. Its now 11:53. I was told in the beginning it would be a half hour wait. Im still in the waiting area. They never said if people call before they walk in they would be seated first. Im going to wait 10 more mins since Ive already waited all this time and paid 15 for parking. 9 more mi s and Im throwing chairs...........

I dont get the handful of negative reviews. I had a great experience here. The food is very affordable for being right on the river in Hoboken. You cant beat the view. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was excellent. And to top it off they gave us to go cups for the pot of coffee we had. We will definitely be back.

Came here a few weeks ago for brunch for a friends birthday. We put our group in and were told the wait was about 30 minutes. Checked with the hostess about 20 minutes later to check in, and were informed that our table was given away and we would have to wait another 30+ minutes. We left, and there is 0 chance we ever come back.

Great food that with a view. Not only are all of the ingredients fresh, the view of the city is what makes it more enjoyable and with great company, forget about it. Youll spend the whole day. Great for breakfast & brunch. FYI, if youre driving make sure you get there early to find parking, otherwise good luck finding parking.

called at 9:45 this morning to place our order. called again at 10:45 asking about our delivery, was told that it just went out. food arrived at 11:25 and was ICE COLD. Very disappointed with the service. Food is delicious, but this is very poor service and the cold food ruins how good it actually is when warm.

I have gone several times to this restaurant for breakfast. During weekends is very crowded so you should better arrive very early or call. The food use to be very good but the last time I went it was regular. The service is still good and the restaurant has a very nice environment.
