I gave this an average rating mainly because of the price. Non-fancy breakfast food is among the easiest foods to prepare & therefore, Im not thrilled with the $28 tab for 2 people. The restaurant is clean and well outfitted, but the staff seems more intent on gabbing in the corners than taking an order (we were seated very promptly, but waited over 5 minutes for a menu and breakfast is NOT a meal you want to wait to order). The greeting staff had just brought take out coffee from another restaurant to drink, I shuddered b/c great coffee is de rigeur, but the coffee was good. Hubster had fresh squeezed OJ, very good. We had side of home fries, not crispy, hot or well seasoned, skip it unless you like really plain food. The scrambled eggs were cooked just like I ordered, creamy and soft but cooked through, which is fairly difficult; served with a small stack of original pancakes, which were ok, better than McDs but not as good as Bisquik with added butter, cream & vanilla, but no work, so thats a plus. Hubster had egg platter with fried eggs ssu (very well cooked), sausage and silver dollar pancakes, he pronounced the ssu eggs excellent, the sausage was a pattie and fairly mild and the silver dollars were quite a large stack. Real maple syrup is an extra cost (I think $3?) and I asked if they had jam or cinnamon sugar for the pancakes and they looked at me like I had two heads. Unlike a diner breakfast, no toast with your eggs. There are lunch foods which we did not sample. As much as I like to support new enterprises, $28 for two normal breakfasts is very high priced and we wont be returning. One plus, the tab listed the gratuity by % for those who are mathematically challenged.

It took about 2 seconds to realize the guy who had taken our order over the phone has absolutely no customer service skills! After receiving our delivery I notice a $3 delivery charge that was not stated on the menu and we were not made aware of. When I called to ask about the charge, all they kept saying is "theres a $3 charge". I told them it does not say that anywhere. He repeated, "theres a $3 charge". I was told to talk to the manager about it but I would have to call back tomorrow. There was no manager or supervisor on site. That probably explains the quality customer service you get. On top of that, the hockey puck, or burger as they like to call it, did not have everything on it as the menu stated. The milkshake was frozen watered down chocolate milk. I have always walked past this place walking down Washington St. and will continue to walk right past it after this.

Great story, so we ordered from here and was told the order would take 45 minutes ok. We were called back an hour later first saying we are loading the truck and will be there soon. Then we we called back the Manager Alexis General said 1 - We cannot deliver where you are. 2 - I said well since the food is ready can you deliver this one time since we waited? 3 - No we just threw out your food 4 - She then said it would take 2 hours. Sundays are usually our familys day to go to IHop to eat after church. I was so happy that we could order breakfast out because wife took the car to the pharmacy to get medicine for our daughter who had a bad allergic reaction so I had no car and IHop doesnt deliver. My daughters were so upset and hungry after waiting. Thanks guys you lost a customer..

I was very disappointed in the service. I went in with my roommate at 1:45 on a weekday. We were the only people in the place, besides the staff. We had to call across the restaurant to get the servers attention to get condiments, which she should have asked us if we needed when she dropped off our food. Then a few minutes later we had to do the same to get refills of our drinks. We watched our sever texting on her phone and ignoring us. Towards the end, she dropped off our check and took away our plates. We then waited for over five minutes for her to return so we could show her she overcharged us. She again was ignoring us, so we left money on the table, minus the overcharge, and a tip. Worst experience ever.

Not sure what the rave is about here...I (like most natural born US citizens) LOVE pancakes. No really, if Im going to eat those extra carbs then I want them to be AMAZING and worth that extra set I do in Insanity....with that said, I was so mad after I went here. Not only did I waste money but I had to do an extra workout and had no gain taste wise for it! We went on a busy Saturday morning. The wait time was minimal (no thanks to that large group of 10 in the back hogging a table with no food, just coffee for over an hour in a half). I should have grown concerned that during our wait, I didnt notice anything GOOD smelling coming from the kitchen. It was all rather...bland smelling.

Ive passed this place a few times on my way to Rowing class. After class this past week I decided to stop in for a meal. I wasnt disappointed!! the Observer pancake wrap was awesome!! Large portions and quick service. It was a Friday morning, so it wasnt crowded. I went back again on Sunday, again...the meal was awesome. There was a little wait, but its Sunday brunch, so its to be expected. Hostess seated me when a booth was available, and the server was very attentive. The servers from my previous visit remembered me :-). I think I will be going back again for sure! Great motivation to go to rowing class!!

A full star is being too generous in my opinion. I ordered a Waldorf salad from Stacks for pickup and instead of telling me that HALF my ingredients were missing, they decided to put together lettuce, cheese and cranberries and charge the exact same amount. When I called in to complain, I was told by one of their servers, Bobby, that he couldnt do anything and that I should call again from 9-3pm because thats when the managers were in. Im a bit confused why there isnt a manager at the restaurant at 6pm, on a busy night but it goes to show how ridiculous the restaurant is. Im honestly surprised they get business.

In general this place is terrible, it has bad service, overcharged bad food. Please do not waste your time and money in this place, Hoboken has better restaurants. My experience was awful, I had the most disgusting and expensive coffee of my live in this place, the butter they used on my pancakes had an odd flavor ... it tasted like something left in the fridge for days, the butter smelled like onions. The service is poor, the woman who took my order was more concerned about talking with her friends than taking my order, she was very busy talking with her friends :S.

The service is horrible the servers smell especially one I think his name was bobby. They screw up your orders and they are.just generally horrible. Dont waste your time or money go to ihop. High priced bad food. Really who charges extra for cheese or meat when it says choice of. On the menu. This place can use a renovation and all new workers. The manager is a lieing bipolar retart and the place has such bad leaks you fall walking to the bathroom. Talk about a cheap owner
