100% the best place to get coffee in South Jersey. The staff are well-trained and friendly, the atmosphere is well thought out and expertly implemented. Not only do they use local roaster Square One for their coffee beans, but they also feature rotating guest roasters. Real coffee experts!! There are homemade, fresh baked goods that easily out-do any bakery or pastry shop in the area. Plus, the smell of them cooking from the back of the shop adds to the wonderful atmosphere. You can pre-order the baked goods for catering (including their AMAZING POPTARTS!!) and are a wonderful alternative to chain stores when bringing in treats for the classroom or office party! And...if that isnt enough, they sell local wine. Whole and half bottles. Red, white, and fruity seasonal blends. You can buy it and drink it there or take it home or get one bottle for each! Coffee, wine, comfortable atmosphere, and knowledgeable, friendly staff. Ive been a loyal customer for more than 5 years, and wont get my coffee from anywhere else in South Jersey!

Each time I have been at Jersey Java I have walked away with a negative opinion. The service I have experienced has either rushed me or been rude, besides the owner and her son who are very nice people. With every to-go coffee order I request they leave room so I can add my cream and sugar but it always comes filled to the brim and with every sit-in order I never end up receiving the biscotti. My most recent experience was they forgot to give me some of the items I had ordered. One experience I was there around 6:30pm with closing time at 9. As I was with a friend, a staff members friend was lingering around where they ended up rudely telling my friend and I that they decided to close early that night. This place will never live up to the welcoming atmosphere of Three Beans but it still has potential. The quality of the coffee is nothing special, if its even hot when you order it. Even with a negative opinion, there is something positive about Jersey Java that keeps bringing me back, I am just not sure what it is.

Great ambiance and setting, but the coffee quality is horrible. The staff doesnt know how to brew or make basic drinks that should be standard, for those prices. Ive been coming here regularly for a while, and the clientele is good, the music is good, but the baristas are punks off the street that complain about lack of tips and how much they hate their jobs- IN FRONT OF PAYING CUSTOMERS! What a turn off! I came for coffee and to relax, not hear about how much you hate your life as a barista. If you hate it so much, leave, but how unprofessional. If I was the owner, I would fire the little whiny punk boys that work there and get people that actually (pretend) to like their jobs, like everyone else, for the sake of keeping customers!

Very good local coffee spot. Very large seating area and plenty of outlets, so it makes for a great place to get work done. The crowd varies; a lot of high schoolers come in after 3, and mostly old people at night, with a smattering of young professionals during the day. Their espresso drinks are great; with real coffee taste to them rather than the sugary concoctions you get at Starbucks. Plus, they carry wine here too, which combined with the outdoor seating area should make for a nice wine garden in the warmer months, a nice luxury to have in a town with absurd and archaic liquor laws.

This coffee shop is spectacular. Coffee is well priced. In all my visits Ive been consistently impressed with how well trained each barista is at creating quality beverages. The coffee is spectacular. The space is quaint, the employees are knowledgeable and very nice. Do yourself a favor and stop here if youre in the area. Overall, wonderful atmosphere for studying, reading, or enjoying brunch with friends. Wish I had found this place sooner!!

If you could create the ideal neighborhood coffee place, it would be like this. And judging by the steady stream of customers through the door, many agree. Service is very friendly. Closing hours are occasionally erratic. I do miss the shabby kid-friendliness of its predecessor, Three Beans, but overall, Jersey Java is doing a really nice job.

I would rate this place if I could buy something there. We went in there with no cash and was told there is a $10 minimum for debit. I understand it costs a few cents to process transactions but that basically says customers arent worth their time. I cant beleive businesess would turn away business especially in this economy

This is my favorite coffee shop! Stick to the fundamentals here and youll be really glad you did; they have a lot of really good specialty coffees, and their espresso and espresso drinks are all excellent. I go out of my way to visit here from Marlton at least once a week and its always worth it.

Been here three times. Venues nice enough, but the coffee has tasted burnt every time. No deep resonance like Starbucks. The only place whose coffee is worse is The Bistro at Haddonfield. Cant say anything about the food. Ive only had the coffee. Never once were we given any biscotti.

I far prefer the atmosphere at Jersey Java over Starshmucks. The coffee is better and they give you a tasty sweet biscotti on the side with your coffee or tea. Dealing with small business owners is better too. And theyre really nice here. -Andrew Modern Mazer

Hands down the best Cafe in South Jersey. Most of this has todo with them serving Square One Coffee. The also serve wine, but I cant comment on that. Plenty of room to sit inside and out. The fire place is nice during the winter when they have it on.

Pretentious and bad coffee. Wifi cafe ...talking usually gets you bad looks and people moving in a huff.....Ill stick with The Tree House in Audubon. This used to be a great place when it was 3 Beans....Not a Fan....food not so great either.

Walked in at 8:00 and the guy at the counter puts his hand up and says "sorry just closed shop." The entire place is filled of people. What coffee shop closes at 8 on a Saturday?!! Change your hours on google it says open until 9!

My wife and I love this place. It is very comfortable, relaxing and has enough places to accommodate many people. there are two sides of the place, and in the warmer seasons, they have outdoor seating too.

About parking: 2 hour parking out front in Haddon Ave. Turn the corner and 3 hour parking is on the street. If you plan to stay longer, cross the bridge on the side street and enjoy all day parking.

A laid-back coffee shop that isnt Starbucks. Plenty of seats are available with both indoor and outdoor seating. Be aware they do not have a parking lot. Parking on the street is a huge hassle.
