First off lets start by saying I read some the reviews for this place I searched some other places which were a little farther so I decided on this place since it was in the area and the reviews werent that bad. Myself and a couple of girls were going to have a night out it is BYOB so that was a plus for me which is why my rate isnt that bad. So my friend and I were running a little late and my other friend had gotten to the restaurant already so I told her to get a table for us and wait. After just a couple of minutes the lady asked her how long are your friends going to take, is it going to be long, do you know what they want to eat, so my friend told me. Mind you it was our first visit to this place so right away I was pondering on weather we should even eat there or not just by what my friend was telling me. Well eventually they needed the table so they made my friend sit back at the seating area until we arrived. Well my friend and I finally arrived and it took about 5 minutes to seat us at a hibachi table. There were 2 families on the other side complaining of their cook and entertainment at this hibachi place. So our cook came and there was minimal entertainment pretty boring usually at a hibachi place theres more entertainment so Ive been told and he cooked the food served us the food and left. The food was okay it wasnt bad its just the CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE. Then after he left our waitress kept coming back is everything okay? Is everything okay? I wasnt so happy needless to say and its expensive. Please dont waste your money here its not worth it go to another hibachi place. Never coming here again

DO.NOT.GO.TO.THIS.PLACE. And thank me later. Before talking about food or anything, the owner (or manager) of this place does not know what customer service is. Also, he has very limited English and his pronunciation is extremely hard to understand, yet has very stubborn personality when it comes to admitting his own faults. For example, he does not understand between words "Sashimi" and "Salad". And later when I asked him I ordered "Salmon Sashimi", he kept lying to me and said I ordered "Salmon Salad" Even though I pointed the exact number on the menu which was Salmon Sashimi. (There was no word "Salad" even near it) Then he got very upset and threatened me that hell call the police on me if Im keep "lying", and telling him that he was wrong. Of course he was super embarrassed that he was being corrected in front of his employees and customers, but I call it the way I see it. Im a very easy going person, and Ive never ever write a negative review at all, but this time, I have to. Bottom line, if you want to experience the CRAPPIEST and WORST customer service in your life in restaurant, I wouldnt stop you, but if not, dont even bother thinking about going to this place. WORST.CUSTOMER.SERVICE.EVER. PS: Do not even assume that Im slightly being racist toward this guy because his English isnt good and Asian, I am Asian myself, and my first language isnt English.

GROUPON FINE PRINT.... if your coming here with the groupon be prepared to have some trouble. I bought the $60 groupon towards hibachi. I wanted to use it on the weekend, I was told I couldnt (M-TH) Then I finally made some time during the week to use it but then they told my I couldnt use it for lunch, ok so dinner it is.. BTW I live in NYC so it sucks driving to jersey in the first place.. THEN... when I finally go use it they told me the $60 credit was for 4 people or more (its just my husband and and I so.......(groupon stated nothing about that) This was my husbands first experience in a hibachi and they ruined it. The food was ok but not worth the price, Tony the chef was excellent but everything else was not worth coming here again. I had to cause a scene to use my groupon, I tipped the waitres really well because its not her fault, besides my husband said he had a good time but unfortunately I didnt... I would never come here again.

So they have great tasting food. Great skilled chefs. However... we were seated 1hour 45 min waiting for the chef to come out. All we had was drinks to use. Thats just ridiculous. Not us alone, it was 3 families waiting on one chef. So by the time he came out and started cooking for everyone, over a hour passes just for him to cook for everyone simultaneously. OK. Fine the food was great until I had the last item cooked face, FAKE SALMON. I kid u nottt... yo I swear I started having trouble breathing within minutes of eating the salmon. I got up threw it all up. N then came back to sit down. Recovering with some icream. The very next day I ate salmon from the shopping area and I was fine. I have never been allergic to any food until that fake salmon. That was my expirence.

Today was my grandson birthday, we had a party of 10. My niece was 10 minutes late and the witress was very nasty asking us every minute to order the hibachi without her. Service was horrible, the chef bad did the show in a hurry. Food was terrible. We usually go to a hibachi in Morristown and is way much better than this one. We will never go back neither recomend this place to anybody. The gratitud that came with the bill was exagerated, we demanded it to be lowered because of the bad service they did. Will never recomend this place to nobody. Bad service, bad food.

I just love eating here. I want to try their new thai menu, but I must always get their sushi because I have yet to find better than this place. I highly recommend the Fuji Volcano, Godzilla, and Sumo rolls. I love their Nightmare roll, too, when they have it. The decor is beautiful and the habachi is nearby, so you can watch it if you are eating sushi in the other part of the dining area. Very nice place to eat. The last time I went, there were three of us, and we purchased 3 special rolls and 1 regular roll and it came to about $50 with tip included.

One of the best sushi restaurants in Bergen county. Not to mention the staff is incredibly awesome :) the times that my husband and I brought our 2 year old the staff was very accommodating and very playful with our son. The free appetizer and fantastic sushi makes me hungry as I write this review. If you do visit try the Godzilla roll - its not in the menu but its def worth asking for. The presentation of the food is beautiful and for the very fair price my husband and I are regulars :) We are actually ordering take out as I write lol.

the best I ever tasted in Hackensack, NJ. Almost all the rolls are half price off on Monday to Thursday. Me and couple of my friends went there a week ago(second time) and we had beef teriyaki, salmon teriyaki and chicken teriyaki this time. The meats are very tender and the sauce is probably one of the kind, you will not taste it from another sushi restaurant. I did not order hibahi but I saw it when I was eating. It was cool and fun, the guy was performing tricks with the food. It's definite one of my favorite places to go.
