I tried this place at the recommendation of my girlfriend, who frequented it years ago. I subsequently reviewed the Yelp reviews, and figured, OK this place seems like a good new place to try. Upon arrival, the place was busy, so that was a good sign. From there, it went all down hill. Upon entering the building, you are not greeting by a hostess, but by an awkward bar area. You have to walk your way further in, which is fine. Then you wait in the small bar area. After getting a table, we were seated. Nothing to rave about in their seating. They have a high table density, and it can get loud. They have an LCD above a nice fireplace in the one room, and I thought how tacky it is to advertise your establishment while you have patrons eating. We ordered two drinks to start and two soups for appetizer. The drinks were good. The Chicken Soup was something to be desired. It lacked flavor. The Escarole and Bean soup was delicious. The bread that they provide is good, but it reminds me of bread you buy at ShopRite. From here on, nothing was good. Out came our house salads. Felt like a Dole bag of salad with one piece of tomato and maybe one piece of cucumber. Im not sure if they even put dressing on? Maybe just oil? It was extremely bland, and neither of us could get that food down. And my girlfriend never leaves salad. This is the first time Ive seen her leave a salad. I ordered Chicken Parm, figuring, this is an Italian place and you cant mess that up. Well, somehow they did. The Chicken Parm was not very good. I dont even know how they could make it taste like that. They dont even bother to put shredded Mozzarella on. They put two slices of Mozzarella on, so when it comes out, you have this funny looking piece of Chicken. They only covered half the chicken with sauce. The side of pasta was so bad, I only could try two bites. I tried the first bite because it looked good, then tried again because I said to myself, maybe I am mistaken, it cant possibly be that disgusting. Well, it was. I left about half of my chicken and all of my pasta. My girlfriend ordered the Lobster special, it came with some potatoes and veggies. The potatoes were bland. The lobster was not cleaned out, was the worst I ever tried, and was sad to let go to waste. At that point, we were afraid to try dessert and waste more money on this place. We left hungry, and tempted to eat elsewhere, but our tastebuds were ruined for the night. We were asked if we wanted our food wrapped, and I didnt think I should do that to my dog, so we politely declined. I was tempted to give this place two stars because only one star seems extreme, but when I got the bill for $77 and added on $14 tip, I said to myself, all of this food and money, and Im still hungry and it was so horrible. I drove 30 miles to try this place out and could have gone to so many other places that would have been actually halfway decent for this money. I am thinking maybe we are picky since people there seemed to be eating the food. But maybe theres nothing better around. I dont know. Maybe they have a new chef who really knows nothing more than how to boil water. Or maybe the owner is giving a directive to use dollar store ingredients, which saves money obviously, but could make for some not so pleasant food. I will never visit this place again. Oh yeah, service was OK. Lastly, my girlfriend went to the restroom and said it was disgusting. Thats somewhat typical though it seems for public restrooms.

The food was okay. Nothing was quite spectacular--in fact, a lot of the food was over seasoned, leaving everything too salty. However, that is not the reason for my low rating. We asked the waiter to wrap up our food since we had ordered too much. In the process, I suppose he misunderstood what we asked, for he took our food and put our used napkins and forks into the dish. When he brought out our wrapped food, we found that same dish in the bag. At this point, we were appalled. Not only had he misunderstood our request, he had the audacity to act as if he had not done anything wrong. It was only when we pointed out that we noticed his actions that he muttered a small "sorry." For a place like Segovia, I expected the management to train their employees better. I am so disappointed in this restaurant. For the price and ambiance of the place, I expected so much more. I will definitely not be coming back to Segovia.

The food and service here are average. The place use to be a lot better but I rarely enjoy myself here. I continue to give them business because this is my hometown and I have to support. I have found one item on the menu that I do enjoy. The tri-color salad with chicken is pretty good and is not a bad value. If you are looking for a good chicken salad, give this a try.

Bazzarellis is truly a landmark in moonachie. It was absolutely delicious. Every time I go there with my friend the staff are always welcoming to us and we sit at the bar and order our food. I usually order the ham and cheese Stromboli its one of the best Strombolis I ever had. I would truly recommend this place,

The food is excellent . Ive gone to many restaurants in my life and I cant believe this a neighborhood place. Last weeks short rib special was the best Ive ever had. The lamb steak was incredible also. New York City has nothing on this place. Great pasta!

When they brought the salad I was worried. It looked less than appetizing but the rest of the dinner was pretty good. I found it odd that there were boxes of cups and restaurant supplies out where we could see. I would go back

Food is ok, had pizza and eggplant parmesan, took over a hour to get the food, as I watched everyone around me come and go. Then pizza came out over cooked. (Even though we asked for it to be cooked on the light side)
