Edit: I have since been kindly contacted by one of the owners, which gave a little more light to why our experience was so so terrible. The poor service was due to a staff emergency (although I hope that this is a little reminder that all staff need to be trained to the same proficiency), the poor smoothie was a result of the poorly trained emergency staff fill-in, but there really was no excuse for the awful elevator music and oily kale. If anything, go there to try their amazing coconut bacon. Original Post: We have never been so disappointed with a dining experience in our entire lives. Generally it would be of poor sport to write a bad review, but in this case we felt it was a disservice to the rest of the community if we neglected to inform the public of our terrible experience. First off, the prices are slightly above average (which really wouldnt be a complaint seeing as they claim to source locally) BUT the food was absolutely terrible, so I consider the prices drastically inflated. Secondly, the ambiance is delightful, if you like awfully loud and terrible elevator music, a blender running constantly (seriously, it ran for more than 5 straight minutes at one point), and people around you being impatient because of the lack of service. Now lets get to the food. We ordered a smoothie (because their juicer was broken), and a vegan BLT. The smoothie was so awful we each couldnt choke more than a few gulps down. It was warm, for one (because it sat in a roaring blender for fifteen minutes), and the ginger was so overwhelming that one couldnt taste anything else. The only good part of the vegan BLT was the coconut bacon (Edit- they make it IN HOUSE and it will be available in local stores soon!). The bread was amazingly stale, the avocado sparse, and the sandwich came with this terrible kale salad that was drenched in oil. Like, drenched. I highly recommend going here if you love being frustrated by terrible customer service, barely edible food, and a wait time that would make even gandhi cry. Go elsewhere to a place like the Lovin Oven (right down the street), or the Frenchtown cafe (if youre not a vegan).

Im grateful to see more vegan options in the area. The food however, was just ok. I was disappointed in our brunch which was just a simple smoothie and a tofu scramble. The smoothie had a strange consistency. The scramble was barely seasoned at all and tasted oily. The best thing we tried was one of the baked goods, a berry scone that had a nice flavor and texture. I hope it was just an off day for brunch, will try them again soon and update this review.

High vibing food and people! Loved having friends take me out to eat lunch here. The salad and smoothie I got were out of this world! The staff all made me feel welcome and cared for. The food was prepared with love and expertise, as well as being high-quality and high vibration sustenance for the body, heart and soul.

Amazing fresh organic. And everybody is so nice and friendly in there. I love a place thats passionate about the food they have and make. The chili and salad was great. Gotta go back for breakfast. Organic pour over coffee w/ coconut milk was delicious and had a amazing smoothie shake for the road.

The black bean burger was delicious and super filling. The detox smoothie tasted more like the greens and less like the fruit, but it was still quite refreshing. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxing. The staff was very personable. Ill definitely come check it out again.

Had the black bean veggie burger a couple of times modified with sauteed onions and mushrooms. It is scrumptious. Wish they were open later but they just started up. Really nice juices and smoothies too, if a little pricey.

Great local spot for breakfast or lunch or juicing. Vegan huevos rancheros are delicious as are the vegan burgers. The smaller portions are helpful. Service is spotty. Lavender ice cream is yum. Prices are fair.

Came here on drive from NYC to Washington for the vegan dishes. Tofu scramble was worth the detour - owners very friendly and great menu for animal lovers and the health conscious

Cool restaurant nestled towards the back of Frenchtown! Great vegan menu for the price, and a great spot to stop and refuel while doing on of the bridge routes on bike!

Great little place! We snuck in for an early dinner as they typically close around 6. I enjoyed the bacon tempeh burger which was excellent. Will definitely be back!
