I have been to Bar Louie several times in the past month and a half. My experience has been very good. The first time my husband and I went for dinner and I had the street chicken tacos and he had the fish and chips. Huge portions. We both enjoyed our meal and our servers were great. At the time, we were deciding on where to have my daughters graduation party and Bar Louie was on our list to check out. We decided to go back and try the menu that we would have for the party. We tried the veggie flatbread, the bacon cheeseburger sliders, buffalo wings, boneless barbecue wings and Caesar salad. We enjoyed all the food and booked the party. I went again with my friend and our two daughters two weeks ago. This time we had sandwiches, I had the California chicken sandwich and the pear and blue cheese salad. They were delicious. I went again this past Tuesday for Happy Hour with a friend. I like that you get a choice of any glass of wine on their menu for happy hour pricing. They dont just say you can have this one house red or white wine. They are new and are working out some things with servers. Mostly we had great attentive servers. My only negative was at happy hour it took a little too long for our drinks to get to us and we did have to locate our waiter. But, the other servers are happy to pitch in. Have a great attitude, treat your server kindly and you should have a great experience. The food is good for what it is. This is not a gourmet restaurant. The experience is fun and it is decorated like a hip place in downtown Philly. I will give it 5 stars if the party we are having there is fantastic.

First time ever going to bar Louie and I wont be going back. First the service was ridiculously slow, waited 10 minutes before we even knew who our waiter was. Got our drinks and appetizers fast however $8 for some croutons with lettuce ,tomato and onions. And thats not all, I ordered the chicken tacos and my fiance CLEARLY ordered the grilled Mac & cheese sandwich with pulled pork and it comes with Tots or fries. All of the sudden we got the tots brought to us first like it was an appetizer,we thought nothing of it. Then they brought our food and not only were the chicken tacos cold and dry they have my fiance a baked Mac & cheese with pork AND shrimp. So we told them that they got my girls meal wrong and Alex with his "Ill fix this" said he would take care of it. 10 minutes later My girl gets another bowl with baked Mac &cheese with pulled pork. So I brought it Alexs attention and showed him on the menu exactly what she ordered and was supposed to get he asked if he should fix it again but by then my girl was so fed up she wasnt hungry anymore. We waited another 15 minutes we had to ask another waitress if we could get a box and a check so Alex finally brought the box and check and to my surprise we got charged for tator tots as an appetizer and baked Mac & cheese with shrimp. So add another 5 minutes for Alex to come back I explained to Alex the problem and assured me with his famous line "Ill fix this!" As long as it took me to write this review is as long as it takes to get service and this place. And Im a terrible Tyler. I will never go back!

I was so excited to be dining at this establishment. The restaurant is very chic. Now for my bubble getting bursted.. I ordered a long Island drink and the waitress asked me if I would like Top Shelf, I responded eagerly Of course the drink tasted like a hint of fun with water & syrup. My buffalo wings were not done and had hair ( lots of hair on them). The babies chicken tenders were cooked so hard that it was hard to bite them. I ordered the blackened fish, it was bland and didnt taste good at all! Moral of this story ALL THAT GLITTERS AINT HOLD .

Drinks, salad and entree came out wrong. House salad with blue cheese dressing does not mean salad with house dressing and blue cheese dressing! Ordered a burger with blue cheese and when it came out it was a burger with cheddar cheese and blue cheese on the side. They sent it back to correct it and then came back it was with cheddar cheese and blue cheese melted on top! Now my medium well blue cheese burger became a well done cheddar and melted blue cheese burger! Seriously! Dont usually very complain but just had to voice my disappointment.

My wife and I went to meet our friends for apps and drinks for a friends birthday celebration. Our server was top notch and the atmosphere is definitely very fun. I really like the decor and how the bar is setup (one large oval in the middle of the floor). That being said, the food could have been a bit better. The flat breads we got were a little soggy upon arrival and the buffulo wings and buffulo boneless wings were WAY too salty and didnt taste like a freshly made wing sauce.

Went for 4 drinks and bartender stole a 50 tip on my card. Then called to talk to manger 4 times in one day to find he is too busy to discuss. Left my number with 3 different people. Can not believe this happend. I even wrote a 15 tip on my 45 bill to and it some how charged me 103. Low class bar do not recommend. Plus a 10 drink in a martini glass alone. Just wanted to stop for lunch. Was a customer twice since open but I will be passing this place forever on. Corey

Bar Louie is a coin flip. The food is decent meat heavy but they pull a few options for vegetarians which is nice. The consistency from the kitchen ranges from time of day to how many people are actually ordering good. One day food and drinks or great. The next day you wonder if its the same item on the menu. Overall, music is always playing, the drinks are always flowing at the bar. Great for a good boys or girls night out.

FANTASTIC open lounge atmosphere with wonderful, friendly wait staff! The kitchen is a little slow at times. The food is what can be expected from a lounge/restaurant venue, but still enjoyable! They have "patio" style outdoor lounge seating available, and live music on Thurs. A fun place to wind down after work, meet friends, or even get a little laptop work done during the quiet hours (around 1:30 to 4pm).

My sister-in-law hosted my brothers 40th birthday party in the private room last night and I was extremely impressed with the level of customer service at this restaurant. Our waitress was attentive, kind, and quick. She made sure all of our needs were met, which they were. I wish I got her name, she deserves to be recognized. The party was on 3/19/16. Thank you for making my brothers night stress-free.

Cheap ingredients and bad service. The burger was VERY OBVIOUSLY from a factory, the tater tots were the same minimum-bid quality you got in school, and the avocado slices were browned from being left out. There is nothing here that Chipotle and Panera dont do better, so avoid Bar Louie. edit: 30 mins later I have a really upset stomach, dropping to 1 star rating as a result
