My wife made reservations for 7pm on Fathers Day, and we decided to go early since the man who she spoke to said we really didnt need reservations (he did take the 7pm down). We got there a little after 6pm and the woman who sat us said she had to take our order because they were starting to clean up. So, that was weird. From the outside, this looks like a kind of nice steakhouse type place. But inside its more pub-like, your basic tavern with a nice bar and some high top tables on one side and regular tables on the other. I had the chicken bruschetta and my wife had chicken saltambuca (?). Both were generous portions, and the sauce and pasta were good, but the chicken was kind of tough and dry for both our meals. The warm bread and butter was pretty good, but the bread was pretty dry also, maybe because it was close to closing. Its probably a better bet for the sandwiches and pub-type fare than the full entrees.

This may be the worst restaurant Ive ever eaten at. Ive given it multiple tries, trying several different dishes. All trash. The food is not worthy of a dog. The employees are nice, the service is fast and with a smile but the food i horrendous. This far outweighs any of the few good characteristics of this establishment. I would rather eat at McDonalds. I have eaten at a wide array of restaurants, good and bad. The food here is by far the worst. If youre looking for good food in this area try Villa Venice or The Tavern at Great Meadows. They are both high quality alternatives to this god awful place.

Pete has been in the business long enough to know what works, and what doesnt. Ive never walked away from here to say it was a small portion or a bad choice. He has it working under the " Keep it simple " adage. Works for me, I highly recommend you try it , you wont be disappointed .
