I have to agree with a previous reviewer that the quality suddenly changed a year or two ago. I ordered wor shu opp (sp?) which is pressed duck--a menu item Ive ordered many times, and received something I can only describe as some sort of fried meatball. I wouldnt be writing this review if whatever I received tasted OK, but it didnt. Other items were just so-so. This used to be a reliably good and convenient Chinese take out restaurant, but now we tend to avoid it. Like another poster said, Little Szechuan in Little Silver is close by, and at least serves consistent Americanized Chinese food. To be fair, we probably will give it another chance one of these days, and if the quality improves Ill write a more favorable review.

This used to be my favorite Chinese place. It has since changed owners and its quality of food has gone down substantially. They somehow manage to take easy Chinese classics and ruin them. I highly recommend that you do not go here because they will surely dissapoint. Try little szechuan two miles away in little silver. Slightly more pricey but you cant put a price on really great food. Dont waste your money at number one!

This use to be my go to Chinese place in this area when I work. Havent been there in about a year and a half. Stopped by today and was so disappointed. Service was very slow (too busy talking on her cell phone). The egg roll was VERY well done, and the Lo Mein was actually gritty. It was the most disgusting food ever. Will never go back there.
