***UPDATE*** we went back this past weekend, 6/24/17 for our 2nd go around at top golf since the first time was great. What we learned : The 1st floor sucks. Its a family floor, so if youre with a group of friends, and want to have fun at night, DO NOT get a bay on the bottom floor. The top 2 floors are where the nightlife is at. Food/Drinks took about an hour to receive after we would make our orders. Service was very slow, although our waitress was always coming by to see how we were, and apologize for the slow service. The food is good, but the nacos ,my god the nachos were ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE! . You go to any restaurant i existence, and get signature loaded nachos, and you get a plate of like half a bag of nachos, in cheese with meat and chili, etc. Nope, at Top Golf you get 9 fn nachos. It wasnt until after we ordered, and complained that i saw there was a photo of these sorry nachos in the menu, which we all thought were the quesadillas . Wings at this joint are fantastic though so that kinda made up for it. If the nachos were better ,and service wasnt so slow, i would give this 5 stars, but yet again, my last visit only prompts 4 stars. Maybe 3rd times the charm *************************** Awesome time here. Went for a friends 40th birthday (that old man). There was 7 of us. We had a VIP for 5pm so we made sure to get there at 4pm to find parking as the reviews said the lot gets packed. We got lucky to find a spot right away. Did our membership cards online, checked in, sat at the bar and had chips and beer while we waited. I only gave 4 stars because when it was time to get our VIP for 5pm they said our priority pass didnt exist. Luckily we had a screenshot of the confirmation on our phone and had to argue it, and they then led us to our bay. Without a screenshot of the confirmation we would have been out $50 , and the wait was over 4 hours. I highly recommend a pass if you dont want to wait. The bays were awesome, the games were extremely fun, our waiter Rich was very nice and helpful. The food was great and the beer options were fantastic. The course was fun as hell too, with many game options. It did pour, and that didnt affect us at all, with the cover, and the heat, it was nice. We spent about 4.5 hours -5 hours there Saturday night. From 5pm to 9:45/10pm. It was disappointing when the birthday boy wanted to leave because he couldnt hit a ball straight from being wasted lol. A+++ to this place. We will definitely come back and hopefully to be able to book a 12 person event. The more the merrier.

Let me start off by saying that this place is FUN. Ive never played anything like this before, the closest thing Ive done to this is playing mini golf. This is so much different and is very enjoyable. The service on the other hand is often sub-par. Ive came here probably 4-5 times in the past month almost every time there has been a problem. One time One of my friends was not given her food after being told "its coming out soon" for almost an hour. It never showed up. With 5 minutes left in our game we finally asked to speak to a manager and he said hed go bring some out in 2 minutes. 15 minutes later ... no food. We were sitting there doing nothing since our game time was up. Once again, we asked the manager for the food and we got a "oh, you didnt get it yet?" We were pretty pissed and he then went and made it himself and brought it to us and packed it to-go. And to top it all off, the food (wings) were disgusting. My friend ate 2 and threw the rest out. At least the manager made them free. Another time my card was charged for $40 worth of food when my order was about $14. When I went the next time I told them about the problem and the showed me a receipt (which the never brought out the last time) which showed that I was charged for all of my friends food. This was ridiculous because they gave cash and cards to pay for their own meals, yet our server for some reason decided to put all of the charge on my card. So this means she must have taken the cash for herself and decided to put it all on my card. Kinda shady. We had a couple of other problems but not as major so I wont get into them ... but they really need to step up their service. Were going to keep coming back because its a lot of fun but this stuff is very annoying. Oh yeah, dont come Friday night ... the waits are ridiculous. Overall, when there are no mess-ups ... top golf is an awesome time

ZERO STARS!!!!!! I have passed this complex and was very interested in the place so I did some research and found the concept and idea interesting. I was excited and decided to take my dad and make the 25 mile drive to Edison. When I arrived I noticed there were a lot of other excited people were there as well. That is where the excitement turned into disappointment. I was overwhelmed by the lines that looked like a confusion. I was walking out when a staff member told me there was only a short wait and she will direct me to get a 5 dollar membership. A membership fee? come on..So I wasted 25 Minutes to get a card on one line,then I had to get on another line that was a 20 minute wait to check in for a bay to hit balls.When I finally got to the front of line they said there was a 2 HOUR WAIT. I already wasted 40 minutes on line to then be told there is a 2 hour wait. I was so upset I was speaking out loud and more than one person came up to me to share their disappointment and was told the same thing that there was a short wait.So if THEY do that to everyone they still get 5 dollars from each person.I think this is absurd. When they go to reservations then I will consider this complex. There was a lot of upset people that day. I rather go bowling same concept but they take reservations.

As many reviews on Google state, Top Golf is over rated with managers that do not put the customer first and are very rude when dealing with service issues. I visited the Edison location twice last weekend both times it was over crowded and not user friendly. I ordered an appitizer which came out burnt to the crisp, and the sauce with not spread on the wings evenly. I requested the server to look them over and she agreed to exchange them. My brother made a comment to leave them behind after the server was taking them away and without warning I was charged for two orders. I requested to speak with management upon arrival he asked that I empathize with him and would not take the burned ones off my bill. After a long discussion I was made feel like my option did not matter. I will not be returning to Top Golf and as you may know the bad news will be shared and I will not recommend this place to my many golfing friends. I was so disappointed that I gave the manager my membership card which had $20.00 on it, but I prefer losing the $20.00 then spending another dime there. Buyer beware, it was not the first time my orders was unsatisfactory.
