Last time we ordered noodle takeout, they packed the just-cooked noodle using polystyrene/styrofoam boxes. There were some melting marks on the boxes. We recently ordered noodle takeout again and specifically mentioned that we prefer using heat-resistant plastic containers. After coming home, we were surprised to see those styronfoam boxes again - and surely enough there are melting marks on the boxes again. We ended up throwing part of the noodle to garbage - as we dont want to eat chemical that can cause cancer. I get that they want to cut cost (they are cash-only already), but it is not ethical at all to be at the cost of customers health. I hope they learn to do the business the right way.

Good food but the staff is not friendly. In fact Id say they are out right rude. (especially this one tall guy with a lost look on his face - hes usually there during lunch hour). I asked for some extra hot sauce and to my horror he refused. Charge me a dollar extra if you like. Going to a restaurant is not about the food only - its about good service too which pretty much is non existent here. Iv always been nice to them and I can say the staff has always been unfriendly like they are mad at me for being there. Another con is Cash only place (what world do these guys live in)

Authentic Taiwanese cuisine thats worth dining in for. Dont let the strip mall ambiance fool you. With tasty dishes, fast service, and at reasonable prices... This place is a must-visit and I cant wait to return! Everything we tried was on point - beef with hand pulled noodles spicy broth, braided pork rice bowl, and pancake with sliced beef and scallions. Im salivating thinking about the meal again :P

Friendly staff is always a plus. I have tried Chinese good all over the United States, I was extremely surprised and Im still having a hard time believing just how good this food is, I was not expecting this food to be this good, I just figured it would be justblike every other Chinese food joint I have ever ate at. Most definitely 5* food and the prices are right on point. Highly recommend A&J Bistro

Great food and service. The pig ears were the surprise hit of the meal! Fried pork dumplings, spring rolls, and steamed vegetables (just bok choi) were all good too. The thousand layer pancake was nice and flaky but a bit bland... Would have been great if we had order something saucy to dip those pancakes into. The dan dan noodles were a bit disappointing; not a hint of spiciness.

Fantastic Authentic Taiwanese food. Terrible restaurant name. You know its authentic when the menu is in chinese, and the locals are well...asian. Dont worry my non asian friends, they have english menus and ordering is simple with a pen and paper as you mark off what you want. Get the spicy beef noodles or the fried pork chop over rice. Peace.

No idea if this is a taiwanese, or south china province food? Small plate alike dimsum but its not? This place remind me of chinese fast food in asia or what I call "basic food for real ordinary people" cook by chinese-COOK, and certainly "NOT" a chinese-CHEF cuisine style. Despite that, I will sure go back and try more dishes.

Chinese. Hand pulled noodles. Only place I know in North New Jersey for great hand pulled noodles, both with and without soup. Crowded. Favorites: Sweet/Sour noodles (suanla mian) They also have a few rice dishes, and some side items (xiao mi zhou, garlic seaweed, niu rou jia bing).

Sort of noodles-and-small-plates kind of restaurant. If you are looking for conventional Chinese, you will be disappointed. Advice: check the menu before you sit down! Alas, I didnt, and I was less than thrilled. Service was good, though.

Really authentic, really simple Chinese dishes. Especially love their "wide" noodles. The authenticity is especially apparent when you look at the diners and see that almost every single one is Chinese, and speaking Chinese :)
