I am being generous giving them a 2. This was one of if not the worst Italian Dinners I have ever had in NJ. They blatantly lie about their menu items and we were beyond pissed off when we had our order delivered. We received salads with our dinners and specifically asked for no onions. Well they tried to follow instructions by pulling the onions out of already made up salads and missed a few pieces. Strike one! Then we opened our entrées and found that they did not deliver what the menu says. I ordered Chicken Saltimboca (yes they even spelled it wrong - DESCRIPTION RIGHT FROM THEIR ONLINE MENU: Stuffed with spinach, prosciutto and mozzarella in a red wine sauce with diced onions and mushrooms) which had broccoli rabe instead of spinach, had regular sliced deli ham and definitely not prosciutto and had a bland white sauce and not a red wine sauce as advertised. To make things even worse they did not put the entrée over the pasta as requested and instead served us nasty penne pasta with the worst tomato sauce we ever had. It was even worse than jarred sauce. My wife was also just as disappointed with her entrée. The veal was awful and very chewy and the rest of her meal was just like mine...terrible. Are they kidding or do they think the residents of East Brunswick are stupid? This was a disgraceful attempt at Italian Food and they are definitely in the wrong business and are clueless when it comes to Italian cooking. Save your money and shop anywhere else for Italian Food. For their sake I hope their pizza is better than their dinners.

I called to place an order for pickup, a large plain pie. Simple enough, right? I guess not, because the man that took my order over the phone never wrote it down. I was told it would be 20 minutes, so I showed up approximately 20 minutes after I made my order. I gave him my name, and he had no order under my name. He had a very rude tone and I felt very unwelcome in the restaurant. This isnt even the first time I had a negative experience here, but I wont get into that right now. Ill just order from papa Johns next time.

This has been my go to pizza place for over 30 years. The crust is thin and crispy, the sauce has a light sweetness to it, and they make and deliver your order quickly. My only complaint is, over the last year or so, Ive noticed that the pies have gotten really salty. I dont know if theyve changed the recipe, or the cheese they use, but every time I order from there, I feel like I need to chug water for the next 24 hours. I still love the food, but I find myself ordering a lot less frequently.

We ordered subs, who could mess that up right???? Wrong...this place really doesnt taste their food. Tasteless. I had a meatball sub, no seasonings to give the mean flavor so bland. The sauce didnt help, also bland. The presentation of the subs were squished in bread. We also ordered cheese steak, again flavorless meat. I have had their pizza needless to say I learned my lesson and wont be going back to Taverna Della Pizza.

Best plain pizza in the area, and this became my refuge after moving here from Brooklyn where theres a terrific pizzaria on every block. Sauce is spot-on, and the crust is just crispy and chewy enough. The family that runs the place is friendly and welcoming. Ive only had takeout, so I cant speak to the restaurant portion.

This was my first time ordering from this place and I was happy with the food. The only thing I may have like was a little more sauce on my pasta. The salad that came with the meal was old so I didnt eat and trashed it. The guy taking my order was kind and sweet. Overall I was happy with my pasta.

Not the same Pizza anymore. Dont know why all new people working there now. I have been going there since the early 80s. Taste of pizza has change in the last year or so.
