Typically great food and service, but yesterday regrettably, was an exception. I didnt see some favorites on the menu, in soup and entrees, then got less than a dinners worth of servings. While my company was still enjoying her lunch, I sat done with mine; Grilled Salmon with garlic spiniach. Still very good, but I was left twiddling my fingers and still hungry. Filling up on bread and dessert, this isnt "The Quiet Man Ive patronized for years. Sorry to see the service slipping, thats the beginning of the end. Though busier than expected at about 1p, I was a bit disappointed on more than one count. Please rectify this problem, I dont want to lose you, as a eatery!

When asking for advice on where to eat, time and again people suggested Quiet Man. When I arrived, I asked some patrons for a recommendation on the restaurants most delicious dish. They thought about this and were unable to make a single suggestion because all the food was so good. This happened with another couple as well. I tried a bisque and a mushroom dish. This was no pub fare; the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

Great local Irish pub. Established in 1979. The executive chef Skip works there for almost as long as the restaurant has been open. The food is emaizing and range from great appetizers, excellent salads and small plates to typical Irish dishes, mouth watering steaks, seafood and pastas. On Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays you can enjoy life music having fun at the fantastic bar with very accommodating bartenders.

The greatest potato pancakes in New Jersey. Taste just like my mom used to make. All items are delicious and the staff is so outstanding. You feel you are a guest in someone.s home rather than a restaurant. This place has now become the place to go for my family. Its hard to find really tasty fish and chips despite being such a simple dish. This place delivered and then some! They significantly preheat the plate like at a steak place which kept the food warm during the entire meal. The fish and the fries were straight out of the fryer which also added to the experience. Throw in a nice Irish Pub atmosphere in the middle of the afternoon and it makes for a fantastic lunch!

an irish "haven", on the dover/rockaway border, serving up the traditional "comfort" fare & adding their own gourmet "twist" on selections makes for a palate tempting "flight" through a galic "food fantasy". the "freshest" ingredients & "friendliest" staff youll ever find work "quickly" and always please with a "smile". note: make sure to order a pint of guinness with your meal, or by itself!

Agreed, Best Restaurant in Morris County. Not sure what other people are talking about regarding potential issues with service.... food is always top notch. Its a little tight in there, thats the biggest complaint that I would have -- wish it were a little bigger. Is that really a problem though?

The atmosphere is very welcoming. The service is great, and our lunch was delicious. They have an outstanding kitchen. I am a big John Wayne fan from childhood on. The pictures on the wall brought back many happy memories. You must give this authentic Irish Pub a try!!!

Sensational time on a Wednesday night. It got rather crowded and we enjoyed Irish food and drinks! There was a great guitarist and singer, too. Not too pricey, we spent a total, with tip, of $90 for two, and really got our moneys worth. We stayed three and a half hours!

For this area given all the choices, this place is the best! I had the crab cake turnover and it was really good. Very tasty. Service was a little hectic at the dinner hour but thats ok, I still enjoyed everything.

Excellent soups, bisque, mushroom are outstanding. Filet mignon was very good as was a surprising entrée of mushroom ravioli with eggplant rounds, mozzarella and pepper sauce. Will become a regular!
