Chelsea Pub and Inn is the best part of Atlantic City! I must take the time out to give this place the 5 stars it deserves! Id give 10 stars if I could thats how well my visit went. The staff in the Inn and in the bar were INCREDIBLE! Each one was friendly and helpful. The Inn is dog friendly so we brought our dog and everyone was sweet and loving to her. Our retractable leash broke while there and they even had an extra one and gave it to us so we didnt have to go buy one. The Inn is very unique and is a older Victorian house and was perfect for us. The rooms are all different and makes you feel at home, they also include a fridge. The Inn is located a block from the boardwalk and across the street from the Tropicana casino. Also, there is a 7/11 near by and a Dunkin Donuts. The building has tons of character and if you visit you should definitely take the time to walk around to all of its wonderful rooms and dont forget to check out the backyard! Jeannie, the owner, is amazing and so friendly and if you need anything or advice she is the best! She lives there with her dog, Pasha. He is a beautiful Italian Greyhound. The dogs played every morning while eating the free breakfast that is offered. Other free perks include free parking and also a free adult beverage at the pub below! Which is open 24 hours. The bartenders are the best! If Gia is there then ask for her special drink, Berry Bliss. This bar has 4 pool tables, a Juke box and plenty of space. They also serve food 24 hours and you wont be let down with their food. The food is all fresh and made to order and very large portions at a great price. I suggest getting the burger with the egg on it and fries! The fries are amazing. A must have! So all in all I do recommend staying at this place. Its the only reason Ill ever visit Atlantic City again. Its truly a hidden gem with the best people. Thank you for everything!

BEST place Ive ever stayed!!! You WONT find a better price either. I have never written a review but this inn was so fabulous I felt compelled. My boyfriend (21) and I (19) just stayed at the Chelsea Pub and Inn and we absolutely loved everything about our stay. The entire building was beautifully decorated and CLEAN. The air conditioning worked well, our room was large and tidied up each day. The TV, furniture and fixtures were nice as well. There were no distracting noises even with numerous pets in house. The distance to the Tropicana, beach and boardwalk was very short and convenient. Dunkin donuts and 7 eleven were also right next to us. Jeannine the inn keeper was very sweet, charming and accommodating, it was a pleasure to meet her. Camilla the bunny who lives at the inn was a cute surprise when we visited the back porch. Breakfast was served during the hours listed on the website and had a good range of items. There is a computer for guest use and plenty of books to browse. The porches were adorable with the one over looking the large garden. Parking was free and very close to the main entrance. The only reccomendation I would make is to ask Jeannine for the wifi password when you get there if you plan to use it. Also the front entrance and some of the rooms have steep stairs as (which we did not mind at all) but just take it into consideration if you have problems with walking! We did visit the pub as well; it is a bit worn down but the service was fine and the food was great! Especially the fries… I plan to go back and would definitely recommend staying here! Thanks so much Jeannine!

Writing this review from my suite as we speak! The place is kinda shabby but for $50 bucks and a hop, skip, and jump from the Tropicana(literally),id most likely stay again! PROS:The owner was sweet and welcoming. The bed and pillows were very comfy! and aside from being very outdated, the room was very clean! CONS:My only real con with this place thats even worth mentioning is the constant noise level from outside! Im sorry but if ur looking for a nice "QUIET" place to rest and get away....this aint it! The outside noise is so loud that it actually sounds like ur windows in ur room are wide open. As we tried to sleep ambulances were blaring, music in peoples cars were blasting, trucks passing by sounded like their route consisted of coming thru our room, and even peoples conversations could be heard clearly from our 2nd floor bedroom! Thank GOD we were so exhausted from getting in late from the casino that the 8 times or so that we were awaken from it,we were able to doze right back off to sleep! All in all tho the place was ok! Idk,I forgot my fan which i sleep with everynight because of the noise, mabe next time if I bring that It will help block some of the loudness, cause as I write this at 7am it still sounds crazy out there, uuughhh!

If you are looking for a 5 star with a casino this isnt the place for you. However, it was a surprisingly charming and delightful place. The outside does not look like much, but the inside was clean, the decor was quaint and the owner is a lovely woman. AC is expensive so if you are looking for a reasonably priced room that isnt one of those seedy motels then go here. You get a free drink at the pub next door (which is 24 hours by the way) and there is an amazing breakfast which is included - from homemade quiche, assortment of cheeses, fresh fruit, cereal, breads, yogurt, eggs, sausage, bacon and more. Our main reason for trying this place is we were able to bring our dog and it was great. The only downside id say is if you have a room on the 2nd floor then you have some stairs.

Great experience at first but let you come with some black friends and the waitress gets racist, all of sudden her attitude switches up when a black man talks to her she changes. Granted I was out there for my bachelor party and she approached my friends the way she did. Meanwhile she was ok with us in the beginning before my black friends came. Its not right, avoid this place by all means, Im disgusted by this place, and I thought was a good place because we already gave the establishment hundreds of dollars then all of sundered the mood changes when a black man was in front of her. I cant believe this happened, and I feel bad for my friends its became real for me now that racism exist on our world. They need to do better

After reading a lot of Tripadvisor and google reviews on places to stay in Atlantic City, I was worried about finding an affordable place that was clean, not run down, and had no bed bugs. Im so glad I found Chelsea Pub & Inn. It was a unique experience, very affordable, the staff were friendly, in a great location, and it was clean with no bugs. Its an older place so you need to enjoy the warmth and charm of older buildings. The decor was funky and the fact that it is attached to a 24/7 pub & restaurant was a plus for me. Some reviewers complained about the noise from the pub but I never heard it. The breakfast at the pub the next morning was just what I needed after a long night in the casinos.
