first of all whoever said this is a great place to eat was nuts....First time coming here..waited quite awhile to be seated..hostess was gone...waitress was nice but very forgetful at times...prices are ridiculous..for the amount of food you get vs price is not good. one of the people in our dining party ordered scallops...it was a special and not on the menu..medium size and approx. doz about 8 string beans and a small baked potato for almost $27..soup or salad is NOT INCLUDED in your meals..want a small Caesar salad?..$5.95...pizza came out burnt on the edges..not a lot of flavor! in my opinion the ONLY reason this place is busy is because it gets the LOBSTER HOUSE,S OVERFLOW!!!! The Lobster House is hands down way better and even the Fisherman,s Wharf is even way better..Not a FAN at all!!!! 6 adults and all Drinks were water..total bill...$215..ribs..a beef sandwich and fish and chips, pizza, scallops meal, mussels...you could not choose linguine either....very disappointed! would not come back!

I cant say that Lucky Bones had bad service, because there was no service to speak of. We sat down and waited 10 minutes and the waitress still hadnt taken our drink order. A couple of parties who arrived after us were already served and had their orders taken. After a talk with the manager, the mistake was apparently due to a "mix-up" and a waitress finally acknowledged our existence. At this point, we obviously knew what to order, yet she only asked what we wanted to drink and walked away. Then a third table right next to us put their order in. The waitress came with two of the three drinks, and asked to see id for the beer that I ordered. Once again she walked away, oblivious to the stacked menus that were laid to the side. We talked to the manager again, and she stood by her terrible server. After getting shafted once again, we decided enough was enough and walked out. Just a terrible experience, and the first time my family and I were deliberately treated like crap by the staff at a restaurant.

We were looking for a great seafood place for my husband while on vacation at the beach, and this place hit the spot! There was a wait, but it was much shorter than they originally thought. We were able to go out back while we waited and let our toddler watch the boats. The service was great. I did feel a little crowded at our table...request a booth if you want more space. They were able to bring our toddlers food as soon as it was ready. There was a kids menu to color on and crayons for him to use. My ceasar salad was good, but they forgot the parmesan cheese. It was brought quickly when requested. The bread and oil was a delicious way to start the meal. The place was a little loud since it was packed, but we could still talk at our table and it was good that we didnt need to worry that our children would distract anyone. We enjoyed our experience.

Food was excellent! I had the catch of the day (hallibut)...with garlic mashed potatoes and string beans, in a lovely lemon butter sauce. The portion was perfect, the fish was cooked just right...everything was great! (And Im a very very particular diner.) The rest of my family also had great meals...a whole rack of ribs (so tender, and huge!), a bone in pork chop (delicious), big chickpea and spinach salad, fresh homemade pasta with scallops and shrimp in a light cream sauce (so good). I wish I was staying longer so I could go back and try something else...they have a nice sized menu, not overloaded. And the staff was very friendly and attentive. If youre ever in the area, I highly recommend stopping for dinner here.

Best meal out two years in a row for us. We called to see if they would have Mako Shark Bites and actually got to speak with the owners wife. She personally talked with her husband who added it to the menu for the week and called and texted us back to let us know when they were in and would be served. The staff here is great and the menu is full of delicious options whether you want seafood, burgers, or wood fired pizza. Our children love to eat here and asked all year about going back. If you are in Cape May I would make this part of your plans. Couldnt ask for a better place to support and spend my money eating out while in Cape May.

The front entrance in a nightmare, with guests checking out, guests making reservations, people picking up take-out. There was two or three hostesses with confused looks on their faces, none of which seemed to know what was going on. Our party of 6 was left standing in font of the hostess stand/front entrance while they seemingly forgot about us. After reminding them twice that we had been buzzed to be seated, they finally found us a table. Fish and chips, and two dinner salads took over an hour to be served. Ive been to Lucky Bones many times over the years, but II doubt Ill be back. And yes, its very noisy.

Went Saturday evening and sitting was available right away for two. Menu is varied with everything from pizza, hamburgers to seafood. Ordered the Margarita pizza. Very thin crust, so if this what you like is the place for you. My only complaint is that I want offered bread and dipping oil to go with my dinner..perhaps because we order pizza instead of a big entree? For dessert we had the bread pudding which was plentiful and delicious. Definitely will try it again! Oh and there is additional parking on the block to the left, if you ever go and there is not enough right by the restaurant.

Spent about 110 on dinner for 5 - 2 adults and 3 kids. The food is overpriced and not very good. There is no "value" here at all. We had Scallops in Bacon appetizer which was drowned in pepper - it rated about a 5. Hubby had the grilled Salmon - it was tasty and i had the Mussles with gargonzola cheese and red sauce. Too much - way too much garganzola cheese but the mussles were good. We ordered 3 kids meals and for 7.5 a pop, it was way too much money for a burgher, mac/cheese, butter and ziti. The pizza was the best thing we had. Save your money and go somewhere else.

A solid 4, party of 5 and 40 minute wait. Would have liked a little faster service or an update from the wait staff on the status of our food and drinks that were ordered. We had 3 very hungry kids and the appetizers took about 25 to 30 mins for basic apps. We understand busy but a little reassurance that we were not forgotten would have gone a long way. Our drinks did run dry and we had to ask for an update for when they were coming out. Food was absolutely delicious and we left feeling full. Would definitely go back, but would like a little more attention next time.

We were quickly greeted at the door, and given a nice table by the fireplace (its cold out!!!). We were quickly taken care of by a friendly and attentive waitress who quickly brought drinks and appetizers. We had Seafood Bisque which was completely out of this world!!! I had the Muffaletta for my lunch and it was heavenly, best ive ever had. We wound up staying for almost an hour just to sit and talk to enjoy the atmosphere. Great place, VERY clean, great food, great service. This was my first time there, and DEFINETELY not my last.
