Well finally caved in and went to Newton pizza cause I heard theyre not gonna be there long because Thor bought them out, I used to go there on and off years ago, they had a distinct flavored pizza, like spices, but not spicy, I really wanted to try their calzone though, calzones are expensive but if theyre worth it, theyre worth it. Newton pizzas was one of the most expensive though, but the biggest Ive ever had, size of a full sized stromboli, but bigger, the pizza and the calzone seemed slightly overdone, though I like my pizza soft and doughy, and it seems nobody in this town can get the sauce for the calzone right, Newton pizzas side sauce was very generous styrofoam cup size, but seemed oily, no real taste to it, I dont know what they use as sauce Im guessing its the general pizza sauce, which Id rather have Marinara sauce to give it that flavor kick, my only quo was the dough used for the pizza, seemed like sour dough, and I wish they would stop using staples on the pizza box, because I always pop it open right there to add my hot pepper, first thing I did was take the staple out, though for the calzone bag I understand the staple. Whats my rating? I cant really rate them on just one visit, so middle of the road, a lot of my friends love Newton pizza dont let me stop you from trying it. Oh and service was fine though I was just picking up and not eating in, felt like a family business atmosphere.

If you love a really cheesy pizza, the kind where the pie is overflowing with Mozzarella, and every bite is full of yummy melted cheese, well, take my word and order a double cheese pizza there. The place is a nice decent Italian pizzeria where the locals go for takeout -- there are at least 5 pizza places in the near by vicinity (within a mile or two), so you know the pizza has to be good for them to attract and keep their customers. The service is fast & efficient, and the people are friendly. I drive a little farther to get to them, but the pizza is never skimpy on the ingredients -- Id rather pay a little more and get a nice cheese pie than pay less and get the skimpy pie!

Newton Pizza "The Best Pizza Place in Newton"!!The Sucameli Family are a wonderful family & their food is fantastic!!I lived in Newton from 2009-2016 & their food is the best in Sussex County!!The Italian food is a mix of Sicilian & Calabrese!!Great food, atmosphere, great family, & I miss their food & love The Family!!I moved in June of 2016 & cant find food made the way they do near where I live. I have been going there for 30 plus years. It is a family business and Denise & Joe make you feel right at home. Anyway now to the food. The sausage & peppers pizza is by far the best I have had anywhere. All the pizzas are very good. They dont skimp on ingredients either. I just had the cheese raviolis. Delicious to say the least. I cant believe I was able to eat it all. Looking back I should have eaten half and taken the rest home. Enjoy!!

My family and I have been going to this restaurant for well over 30 years and have enjoyed all the meals that were prepared for us. Great food at great prices. When we go to pick up or take out, Joe and Denise know us by name and greet us with a friendly smile. Our family will continue to patronize this restaurant for many years to come!

Newton pizza is not only a great place to eat they went out of there way to accommodate me when i didnt realize they closed at 9. I told them i would b about 15 minutes past the closing time they actually held off a few minutes so it would b fresh when I arrived. They never disappoint. Food is always amazing.

Ordered garlic knots and I had to throw them away.. instead of garlic knots they served me a gallon of oil !! Horrible the dough was drenched in oil you couldnt take a bite without oil coming down your face.
