Went here looking to try their version of a "fat rat" at Pizza Express in Point Pleasant. I was so excited when I thought I found somewhere closer to home. However, the sandwich was horrible. The chicken was a dry cutlet poorly breaded and the cheese steak had no cheese, was dry and over cooked. It had no flavor and was very disappointing. I also ordered a pickle out of the jar on the counter- who could mess up a pickle right? Wrong. It was basically still a cucumber. The bottle of pepsi I got was expired as well. I am not a hard person to please, but this was awful. I will not be returning back to this place. I would rather drive the extra 30 minutes to Point Pleasant where the food is edible and the employees are friendly.

Ordered a Tuna Salad, and it came w/ a spoon of Tuna for $6 and change..Also didn't come w/bread. For the price they're charging you can get a better Tuna Salad anywhere else...Also ordered a Pastrami and Swiss Sandwhich. Which ended up being just a pastrami sandwhich b/c they melt the cheese over the top, but when they wrap it, all the cheses sticks to the paper they wrap it in so when unwrapped there is virtually no cheese on the sandwhich. Save your money and avoid subshack.

We got a pretty big order here & picked it up ourselves, got home & sat down to eat, and the burger we got was RAW inside. Not just pink, RAW. At that point, going all the way back to get another burger or money back wouldve been too much of a hassle. I called to complain, cause I dont want them doing that to anyone else, and got an "Im sorry" and thats it.

Best Sub Place around! Plenty of Meat, and trimmings, and always soft bread. Ive been coming to this place for years and have never been disappointed. Hands down, this place is one step above Jersey Mikes when it comes to subs! Only down side is that they no longer accept American Express, which has more to do with AMEXs expensive merchant fees.

I have been visiting this little gem for many years. If you think Jersey Mikes has cornered the market, well all I can say is our missing out. This place makes a sub from back in the day. Plenty of meat, fresh bread, and plenty of veggies. The help could not be nicer. I would recomend this place to any one!!!!!

Subs are good but I would stay away from the pickles, they are not so good.
