I come here a couple times a week for lunch, since I work nearby. Good location right on the water in Exchange Place. I havent really explored the menu too much, but its because Ive found a sandwich that I absolutely love. The Grilled Chicken and Cheddar with lettuce, hot peppers, and artichokes is my go-to. Absolutely awesome. Theyve got a good menu, and almost everything on it is pretty tempting. On top of that, they have a good list of topping options. If youre about spicy, get the hot peppers - I dont think Ive had better hot peppers at any other sandwich place. They even sell them by the jar if you want to take some of the magic home. Aside from that, you can also order the sandwiches in two sizes now as theyve introduced their "Bigs" sizes, which is what I always get. Staff have always been very friendly and seem upbeat and happy. Good prices and sizable sandwiches have made me a regular.

Bad customer service for Food Delivery - The workers including the Manager at this Potbelly shop at Exchange Place give different and incorrect information everytime you call them for home delivery. They have delivered food to my place multiple times but every now and then they deny delivery saying its outside of their permitted area. I dont know if its genuine or they avoid it when busy. The funny and also arrogant one is the manager - who contradicted her own statement. She said they deliver up only as far as Grove Street while my street Marin Blvd comes first and then Grove from their store; clearly showing she lacked the knowledge about the area. And even after I explained this to her she said a no for delivery. P.S i love the sandwiches at Potbellys. Its the manager there who needs to learn some more customer service.

Worst lunch experiance I had in a long time. Customers are better off going to Subway or other sandwich places in the area. They screw up my basic Pastrami sandwich order, gave me items I did not ask for in the sandwich. Spending half my lunch time going there and back to work, I opened the sandwich and found out that I cant eat it... It is hardly surprising, did you see their workforce, few are incoherant and I saw two of them yawning. When I called to complain about wrong ingridiants, they put me on hold for a very long time until I hung up. I am wondering about the queality of their food, after all their top priority seems to be making money. That means that they will get away with anything they can, its your health, think twice before you go there.

Similar to what others have said it really depends on who is making your sandwich. I was taking a walk and this was the only place I saw open and wanted to try their sandwiches. Ive had them before in DC and knew I was a fan. The staff there was really nice and quick but the sandwich was just alright. I wouldnt recommend against going there but there are better options for a similar price all over the city.

While I like potbelly food, this particular store is pretty subpar. 1. The people serving you seem very lazy and impatient. 2. They randomly close early, wtf? It says on the door that they close at 8pm on weekdays, yet the store was completely closed by 7:10pm. This just reinforces my point that theyre lazy.

Friendly staff, very affordable price, and delicious sandwich. Their pizza sandwich might sound ridiculous, but it is absolutely delicious. I also like their cookie and cream smoothie (it comes with some cute, playful touches). Also, do not miss their hot peppers if you like some heat in your sandwich.
