We were a party of 6 for a 6:30 reservation. Service was good, we did not feel rushed. However, a little before 9 pm (I think we were almost done with our coffee) the check was brought to us without our asking for it AND the hostess said she would appreciate us taking care of it as soon as possible since there was another party of 6 waiting for our table because they had a 9 PM reservation. They were telling us we needed to leave! I guess we werent moving fast enough because a few minutes later the manager came over to our table and said "You need to leave now". By the way, we were well dressed and not drunk or unruly in any way. Instead of explaining their "seating" policy to us, and telling us that they did not want to loose our business, it would have been courteous and professional if they had offered us an after dinner drink in the bar. The food was pretty good, but nothing exceptional, so I wont really miss not going there again.

I had to write a review, because I was so impressed by the kitchen at Restaurant L. I have been frequenting the establishment for a year and a half now, and I have been more impressed by the quality of the work that comes out of that kitchen, than by any other restaurant in the area. I worked as a line cook, and Ls Chef runs the tightest ship you can imagine. The quality is remarkably consistent, and the kitchen is immaculate. (yes, I peeked...several times!) The staff are smart, professional, interesting and entertaining. The atmosphere is classy, yet relaxing. Try it...youll be glad you did. Tim Hegadorn Customer

Came here last night as a going away dinner for 2 of my friends. Janet, the owner greeted us when we came in and she seems very nice. Enjoyed having a valet for my car. Tammy was our server, she was attentive and knowledgeable on the menu. Dining room is smaller and candlelight type place, feels nice and warm inside. Food was wonderful, I recommend highly the calamari chino app and I also had the braised short ribs. My friends salmon w turnip puree was great as well. Overall I really like this place, smaller dining room so best as a date or intimate meetup. Will be back.

I can not think of a better dining experience ever had. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was top notch. We ate at the bar and the Bar Staff was without a doubt the best, friendliest and most attentive I have ever experienced--and they were non stop busy. The owner would come by on occasion and chat---a very lovely lady. My wife had the Tuna and I had the Pork shank--both were excellent meals. The value for the money----excellent.

Had a great meal here. Food, fresh and delicious, lovingly prepared. A+ martini. Attentive service. We mentioned to our service, hubby and I were splitting everything. All courses were served, already divided. Nice sized portions. We were impressed!

Small room that gets noisy after 8pm on the weekends. Good consistent food, great drinks, short rib ravioli and calamari app are standouts. Service is relaxed, casual, not first-rate but good enough. Bit pricey.
