This place is the perfect little combination New England gift shop and restaurant. You can pick up all kinds of locally made New England items in "The Attic" section or just get a great meal in "The Kitchen" section of the shop. Try the clam chowder! It is within easy walking distance of the Windham Rail Trail too, in case you need to make up for the calories you burn off on that! Update 6 years later: Food is still outstanding. Every few months they will rebuild this or that, continuously improving. They added a second parking area, rebuilt the kitchen and expanded it, modernized their order system, etc. They now have a part time pastry chef making obscenely good deserts. Best casual eatery I know of in the area.

The food at Windham Junction is always great. The service is friendly and they obviously know their regulars well - though I have felt once or twice that a known customer was served before me even if I ordered first. Each day there are specials which are often very interesting, as well as some great every day meal items. The store is very busy for lunch service, so plan ahead if you want to get in and out quickly. Later in the afternoon and on the two evenings that theyre open each week I havent found it to be as busy. Highly recommended.

Weve eaten here quite a few times and have never had a bad meal or experience. The menu is large, offering breakfast, soups, Salads, sandwiches and daily specials. Weve tried mostly sandwiches and Salads and enjoyed them. Portions are reasonable and the staff is friendly. In better weather, they have outside seating, both on the front porch and off to the side. Stop in. You wont be disappointed.

Love this place! Its quaint and adorable, has inside or outdoor seating, its a family run business and the Owners/staff are very friendly, Ive never waited to be seated or had the food take too long to come out, and everything Ive tried has been delicious! Especially the hashbrowns and homefries, best in the area!

Delicious chicken salad! They have gluten free bread, deserts and other options. My friend had a chicken Greek salad wrap which he totally enjoyed. He ordered fries and they were heavily salted which was the only downside. Will be back!

Cute nostalgic store. Country style gift items. Great food. Great location. Outside eating. Take out ice cream. Close to rail trail, so good for stopping in after a walk. They have a hose & dishes for tired dogs to drink.
