I wanted to explored Providence, but I was going along and didnt want to spend a lot of lodging, so I went ahead and booked the Motel 6 in Seekonk (I actually didnt even notice that its actually MA and not RI, not that it really matters, but its kind of funny). I wanted to find a restaurant at which to eat on my way from Providence to my motel, and I was amazed to spot this place on the map (the GMap, of course). The menu blew me away. The two rolls that stuck out that I had to try the most were: 1. Angel Roll, $12: Inside: black pepper tuna, cucumber, and kaiware Outside: tuna, salmon, white fish, yellow tail, and avocado Sauce: eel, spicy mayo, and mint sauce Mint?! You can see why I had to order it, and it was delicious and interesting. Even more delicious though was this aptly named guy: Paradise Dragon Roll, $14: Inside: eel, red pepper, cucumber, and mango Outside: tuna, white tuna, and crunch Sauce: eel, mango, spicy mayo, and Thai sauce Yes yes yes, one of the best rolls Ive ever had. Everything blended perfectly. Thai sauce?! Hooray! My waiter was very friendly and tried his best to give me really good service though I know it was difficult (and honestly not as financially important to worry about me in my party of one) as he was juggling several tables, including one table of 9 rowdy Jerseyans nearby, so I really appreciated his efforts. Also, the place is beautiful.

I took my family here for my birthday lunch since the kids had never been to Hibachi and I thought itd be a fun lunch. We were greeted at the door by an unhappy man telling me that unless at least 4 of us ate from the hibachi menu that we had to sit in the restaurant. I had a few undecided kids but I thought what the heck and I took the $25 per head plunge. Our waitress was friendly but confused. And the main attraction Hibachi chef seemed bored and rushed through the meal as if on auto pilot. Lucky the food was delicious and every one was happy. We ordered desert. I wanted the green tea ice cream, and I was advised to have it deep fried, not my suggestion, if you want something other than the deep fried oddities that you get at the country fair. My wife then told the waitress that it was my birthday, however the candle arrived in my sons desert with them singing to him then me. This was a little awkward. We paid the $180 bill and moved on. Ill try some where else next time

and what a gift. From the moment you walk in the vestibule where there is a lovely waterfall and step thru the bejeweled doors, it is truly a remarkable experience. Firstm the decor is stunning. Walls of crystall beads hung over a lit blue pebble runner separates the dining area from the bar. The walls are covered in stone, several different stone patterns are used throughout the restaurant and lovely tile floors. A row of bamboo sticks lit from below by coloured flickering lights adds a serenity to the dining room. The beautiful blue is echoed in the lighting below the bar and in the sushi section. There are several etched windows separating the hibachi room from the bar. The decor melds east (sumptious coverings on the booths) with nature. All that is icing because without good food what is a restaurant worth? The food here is well prepared, delicate flavors and sauces, beautifully presented by a well trained wait staff. Bravo! And welcome to the neighborhood.

Went for hibachi Friday night with some friends, expecting the same great dining experience I have consistently received on prior visits. The wait staff seems a lot less together than usual. Carrying themselves not as restaurant professions, and. more like teenagers working at your local fast food joint. The staff looked like they were having some sort of basement party, and didnt seem to be taking their job very seriously. The sound of loud rap music drowned out the room and I could barely hear myself think, let alone have a conversation with the people I went with. The hibachi experience itself was normal and our cook was very polite, but the wait staff overall gave a very subpar preformance. I can honestly say that I was very disappointed. Unfortunatly, I dont see myself going back until I know that the wait staff and servers are delivering the same caliber of service that Ive had in the past.

Went here on a busy Saturday evening with kids. The food was delicious, but slow to come out (but understandably so for sushi), and the service was quite slow, especially considering we were a family of 5. Not sure Id bring kids here on a Saturday night again, but I would definitely recommend the quality of the sushi. The spicy tuna roll was very spicy (to my tastebuds, anyway) but extremely delicious. The sushi dinner was good, although the portion size of the sashimi was on the small side based on my experiences in other sushi restaurants. The chicken skewer appetizer was delicious as well, and they accommodated our request to have the sauce on the side rather than on the skewer. Good food, slow food delivery and slow service, but overall a good place. Great decor. Id like to go back and try the hibachi to see how it measures up.

This was our second time there and both times we were rushed thru our meal. The first time we sat at the hibachi and thought the table was rushed because it had just recently opened and it was a Friday night. The second time was 6 May (Thursday) around 5:30 and there were only a few patrons in the dining and hibachi side. Our waitress brought our food out so quickly that there was not room on our table to fit the soup, salad, and 2 apps. She brought them all out at once and placed them all on our table. She came back about 5 mins later and said our meals were ready and jokingly said "you better hurry up or your plates will get cold back there" Needless to say I too gave that woman a small tip and will not return anytime soon. Not just because of what happened above, but also the food was not as good as I remembered it the first time.

I love hibachi and sushi places. Ive been to many places like this one, but this one takes the cake in my opinion. Their sushi looks like a work of art rather then a slab of cold fish as it does in many other places. If you dont like raw fish, their menu has lots of other equally delicious items. I took my parents there last month, my mom will not eat any seafood, she had their Filet Mignon and Chicken hibachi dinner. It was awesome. If you enjoy Sake and sit at the hibachi table, the waiter will offer to shoot Sake out of a squeeze bottle into your mouth through out your dinner. It costs nothing, but can be a lot of fun if youre there for a birthday or some other celebration and wanted to have a few drinks without turning your wallet inside out :) It is my new favorite hibachi/sushi place! :)

We had reservations for ten people ,yet still had to wait. Soup was bouillion with mushroom slices and chives . Salad was bizarrely big chunks you couldnt fit in your mouth, no knives. Menu was basically surf and turf you could get anywhere, much cheaper. The android who was presented as our chef went through his "routine" absolutely robotically as if practicing for dummies. My son asked "how long have you been doing this?" Android answered "two days" and never interacted again. Mechanical android plopped our food on our plates and left. Our party repeatedly watched the nearby table as their chef kept them squealing in infectious laughter, joking, playing, squirting sake . Was he from another planet? Were we at the wrong restaurant? SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!!!!
