Update: I wanted to take a moment to update my experience. First of all, as I stated in the review below, the first time I visited, everything was excellent. The second time, despite it not being so great, I did not want to fault the restaurant due to bad service on one occasion. So Im updating my review - 5 stars. We had very mixed experiences at this place. The first time we went, the gentleman that was our server, was excellent, and the food was great! It instantly became one of our favorite local spots, and we looked forward to eating there again. The second time, despite not having anyone else in the eating area, and only two people in the bar, our order was messed up a few times, and we had to constantly hunt someone down for refills, etc. The two staff members are seemed more concerned with texting and their conversation, than they did with helping the one and only guests there. When our food eventually arrived, there was no sauce, or condiments, even though that was part of the main description in the menu. We were also charged a different price in the end, than what was on the menu, and were told that the price has increased, but the menu had not been updated. There are only a few local places, and we intend to eat there eventually, and hope the next time is a much better experience. Thanks to the owner for reaching out and responding on this review. I want to assure you that yes, the first time we visited mid last year, the server was indeed a young guy. He was extremely helpful. Im not sure if it was the one time he worked there, or if it was a family member, or what, but I am 100% sure of the location (as there are only a few restaurants on the 125 here in Barrington). Despite the review, we have not given up on Frank Jones; because, as I said, the first time was such a great experience, and lots of people we know love your restaurant. I am completely aware it was probably just the "wrong day" with the wrong staff. Nonetheless, I had to share my experience, regardless. I have updated my review and added a star to better reflect the overall experience there, and because the owner was kind enough to respond.

The biggest problem we have with Frank Jones Restaurant is what to order...its an issue because EVERYTHING is truly delicious and homemade. The servings are generous ( I always have a take-home box!) The drinks are wonderfully made, their martinis are unique and excellent! The staff is so nice and personable, they are always aware of your needs, they are all awesome but I have my favorite bartender full of personality, Danielle. The owners Peter and Michelle just couldnt be nicer or more accommodating to their customers. Just a great group of people, great atmosphere and great food...what more could you ask for???

This place has great food and even better service. Everything is made fresh. The frank jones ale is great if you like amber type beers. The owners are some of the nicest people around, always willing to chat and always want to make sure you enjoyed your experience. The crab cakes are the absolute best crab cakes I have ever had! I grew up on cape cod, lived in Boston for years, and traveled all over, and no other crab cake even comes close. This place takes pub food to a whole new level.

My husband and I were looking for a place to go get some drinks with outdoor seating. We were on our way to another location when we spotted the deck of Frank Jones. We were greeted by the owners daughter who also waited on us. We were so thrilled by the experience! The food, the drinks, the service!!! All OUTSTANDING!!! We WILL be back!!!! It was a great time! No complaints at all!!!!

We have been going here since it opened. The people and wait staff are very friendly and accommodating. The good is good and you get plenty of it. Go hungry because you will then leave filled. The desserts are great and best of all is Frank Jones ale. It is quite unique. They also have plenty of other beers and a good wine list. Try it, youll like it!

Love this place. Decent pub food at decent prices. Bar is a bit cramped but you can cram a fair few friends in the restaurant part. Mostly I get a Barington Burger with sweet potato fries or fish and chips. Tuesday is usually a burger deal night.

Waitress was nice and attentive. Place is expensive for what you get. Half a glass of wine was 8.50. Also salsa was missing from our garlic nachos. It was cheese chips tomatoes and garlic although it says salsa in the description.

A favorite for locals. Good food at decent price. Small dining room; but also has seating available outside on the deck or at the bar. Another New Hampshire restaurant that only provides you with one small napkin.

Delicious Fried Haddock Dinner and Mile high 1/2 pound burger! Service was great very attentive and watched my coffee cup the whole time ( I had three refills).
