Visiting from out of town and wanted to try something that met our requirements: not a chain, and uses fresh/local ingredients. Found SWH Pizza, and brought the family to try it out. We were glad we did! Why? Three big reasons: First, will talk about the pizza: Pizza was great! We had both the thin and thick crust pizzas, and could tell the ingredients were fresh. The sausage was Walters family recipe, and made in house. Unlike many other pizzas, these pizzas satisfied our pizza cravings without leaving us feeling heavy and greasy afterward. Second, will talk about the cause: Walters mission to help adults with disabilities is a just cause to support! Not many people out there boldly taking on such a mission in a way that supports local customers and builds community. Definitely a win-win! Get your pizza and help others. Finally, will talk about Walter: Walter came out from the kitchen to talk with us and tell us about the business and how his vision came from his own experiences and an idea of how he could help others using his family recipes. You can tell hes passionate about the people he helps. Hes also got an interesting history being a part of the music history of Austin, TX - live music capital of the world. The pictures of his life are on the walls. If you get a chance, definitely check out Smiling With Hope Pizza! If your experience is like ours was, youll leave there with a smile.

Best pizza in Reno! Ive been coming to Reno to visit family and have tried several pizza restaurants including wild onion/garlic (I didnt really like it). This one is really good! And not just really good for the Western US; legitimately delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. That they promote skill building in needy populations is even better. My family was wary of what kind of dinner I was getting them into, but we all loved our pizzas. Check it out!

Really friendly service! Loved the ambience and the cause they were working for - People with disabilities. Its been 8 months since they have started the pizza service. A very simple menu!! Just two options, hope they increase their options. Would recommend it for those who want to support the cause, love pepperoni or a simple cheese pizza,or live close to the area.

The pizza is superb....having lived in Philly, New York and Boston, I know great pizza when I taste it. This is truly a wonderful crust and the homemade sausage tastes like my Italian aunt used to make...simply a delicious pizza pie. You cant go wrong and the owners and staff are great folks who care that you enjoy the fruits of their efforts.

The ingredients are fresh and tasty. When that pizza comes out piping hot, its half the satisfaction. The people are really cool, I had to climb into my truck so the server carried my pizza boxes out for me until I was able to get in my truck then he handed them to me. Good people.
