I love going here! I dont mind waiting twenty minutes for my food. Unless the place is packed, you will have to wait a bit (but not very long like some have complained). All the staff members are so nice and sweet, I always tip them extra. I love all of their noodles!! If you do not know what to order, order a "Pud Thai", its amazing! You can choose the spiciness (1-5), 3 is a good number to shoot for. And I dont even have the words to describe their homemade coconut ice cream! After eating, or even for a quick stop, with your friends, order the Coconut Ice Cream with fried bananas. I believe it says "Vanilla ice cream w/ fried bananas", but ask for their coconut ice cream instead. I dont even like bananas, but its amazing with coconut ice cream! Their prices are average. Around 12 dollars for your plate (and its pretty large). I could say its almost for two servings, but you will finish it all. Ice cream (dessert) is around $5. Prices are just like BJs, Applebees, etc. :) I hope you all enjoy this restaurant as much as I do!

The old waitress should simply look for another job. Or maybe shes the owner. She was one of the most rude and incompetent waiter/waitress Ive ever experienced. She made sure we felt pressured to order quickly. She pointed her finger at things to our questions (later we found out she spoke English fine). Never around when we needed her. Im such a loser that I still tipped her 15%... Food quality? Thats irrelevant- You cant enjoy anything when youre treated so poorly... [edit] I revisted this place recently and it was great (of course we had a different waiter this time), thus upped the rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Very good food and service. I would give 5 stars had I not had the experience with that old lady. Just make sure she doesnt serve you and youre golden.

The staff is exceptionally friendly, and the decor and ambiance are appealing. I went with family and we were comfortable and attended to upon walking through the door. The appetizers and main courses were beautifully arranged and delicious to smell and taste. The prices were very reasonable. I personally recommend the green papaya salad as an appetizer and the seafood soup with curry and coconut milk as an entree. The curry duck was extremely tasty as well. I will definitely be returning and will be bringing more family and friends with me. In my opinion, everyone should taste Bangkok Cuisines authentic dishes. If they delivered, I would order their food every day. Thank you Bangkok Cuisine for a pleasurable experience while dining in your establishment!

If I could give this a negative star rating I would. The people that work here are rude and the manager/owner whoever he is is VERY rude. Have gone here 2 times while visiting Reno to visit family and both times were horrible. The food was okay tasting, but the workers, etc. are extremely rude. I cant believe they can keep any business because of this. I was flabbergasted at how rude they were to my entire family just because we asked why we were being charged for rice! Absolutely ridiculous. The first time I went, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and thought wed try it again, but were worse the second time. NEVER again. I think I would starve before ever going there again. They need to attend customer service classes or something.

The special night out place for my whole family! We all love the food which is always good. The Spicy Cashew Chicken (which can be made with Tofu at this downtown location), the Pad Thai, the Panang and Red curries are just fabulous. The atmosphere is quite different between the two locations yet I like them both in their different ways. Ive been to lots of Thai restaurants and the food here is just fabulous, well above par. One note though is the rating system they use for spiciness. If you like your Thai food spicy and you are a white boy (or girl) like me then you will have to be clear that you really do mean 5 stars (best start at 3) when you say it. Just be sure you like molten mouth if you do so.

Came here based on the reviews. Just visiting from Vegas. Ordered the wanton soup and pud see ew w/chicken. The wanton soup had peas, baby corn, sliced pork, wanton, carrots, and cabbage. Great flavor and really filling. The pud see ew was very spicy, ordered level four out of five. That was delicious. Service was great. Only negative was the parking situation. Dont park in the east parking otherwise you might find a boot. Total price for my meal $15.99. Will come again. Enjoy!

Service was super slow. Took 10 minutes to get water. Waitress was nice, but absent. Ordered the pad thai, came with extra roaches. Owner argued with me about what species of insect it was. As if that freakin matters. I ordered pad thai with chicken and shrimp; not chicken, shrimp, and insects. If Im ever in Reno again, Im staying the hell away from Bangkok Cuisine.

I have been to this restaurant a few times and it never disappoints! The fried spring rolls are perfect, not too greasy and very crunchy. Both the chicken basil and the spicy noodles are fresh tasting and have the perfect amount of spice that doesnt overwhelm the other flavors. I like the spiciness level at 3 (out of 5). It is hot, but definitely not overpowering.

Food is great here but the service can be slow and the dining room is a little dank and comes off looking a little dirty. The bathroom is one of the scariest rooms for sure! Seriously I would try to avoid it if possible. I know Im probably making this place sound terrible but the food is so good it makes me keep going back and Im sure it will make you go back too!

There was 7 of us squished at a small table and we also found something floating in one of our water. But the food definitely made up for it, the curry was bomb! The wait time was really long though assuming there was 7 of us and they brought it all out at the same time. The bathroom was really creepy though after walking through the dimly lighted hall.

Dont get me wrong. The food is awesome! But the service is horrible. Judge you on your looks and give your order to someone else...waited 13min to take my order and another 35 min to bring my food out. My wife order the same thing as the person that came 15min after us and they got theirs first..last time Ill be going there.

This is my favorite restaurant of all time. The food is of good quality, the service is usually good, though sometimes they are very busy. The prices are not bad if you control what you are ordering. If you are having trouble finding parking, just park in the large lot across the street where a bridal shop is (or used to be).
