My TERRIBLE experience started with a shift manager who apart from rude couldnt even do his job correctly. I ordered a large classic chicken sandwich with a Coke with NO ICE. I was given a standard size classic meal but was charged for a BLT meal and my Coke had ice in it. When I informed the shift manager who was working the drive thru that I had ordered my drink without Ice he just stood back and said "Did you? I dont know" and with the look on his face and his body stance I could tell he wasnt going to do anything. When I eventually got to speak with the owner of the store he had calmed me down a little and I was going to take the "EXTRA VALUE MEAL" cards he was going to send me and visit this store again. BUT instead he sent me a booklet of five $1 vouchers. This after everything else was not acceptable to me, so I will not work further with him. I have contact McDonlds Customer Care but they dont. So from now on no matter how hungry I get I will never be eating at a McDonalds ever agian.

Understaffed. Because of the stress the people that work here take on, the service was very poor. This older woman was manning the front all on her own. Me and three friends walked in and she gave us a super nasty look. I know that look. Its the "I dont want to be here anymore because Im working too hard for hardly anything at all," look. She wasnt happy, so neither were we. Then about 15 young men on motorcycles came in, too for food. That made the poor woman miserable. I know customers can be unpredictable... but whoever owns this store needs to treat their employees better and have an extra hand. We were missing items of food that we asked for such as sauces and didnt get a fancy A&W cup like we asked for. I feel so bad for the woman because she was trying her best, but just wanted to give up. I dont blame her.

This is a great locally owned franchise. The food is always great quality. No where else in Reno can you get authentic white cheddar Wisconsin cheese curds. Ill take the Bacon Double Burger, no onion, cheese curds, large Root Beer. Since 2002 they have never screwed that order up. The desserts on the menu are great too. Important note: During Hot August Nights they cater to the local enthusiasts that are shunned by the Hot August Nights organization. Us locals dont dump a lot of money on the local economy so we dont get the love. A&W generously allows us locals to participate in the weeks themed car shows and they provide great entertainment too.

An older building than most McDonalds youll find around here. Very small dine-in area that can feel cramp. There is a kids play area located outside. Service is satisfactory from my experiences. My only advise is what you would/should do commonly with every purchase you would make. Check your bag before you walk out. Dont go crazy if they screw up your order. (I may not like pickles on my burgers but I dont go over the top if I ask for no pickles and i still get pickles... I just take out the pickles... they are just pickles) All in all Id say a decent McDonalds.

The place is a bit run down and the burgers are "meh", but the chicken is amazing. Seriously, the chicken breast they use for the chicken sandwiches and the chicken tenders (yes, they use actual chicken breast and not the ground chicken that a lot of fast food places use) is on par with most sit down restaurants that easily cost twice as much as here. Plus, the root beer is amazing. The staff is friendly too.

THE FOOD IS GOOD, BUT WHEN A LADY WAS WALKING AROUND GIVING REFILLS AND SHE WENT TO EVERYONE ELSES TABLE EXCEPT THE ONE I WAS SITTING AT WITH MY BLACK FRIEND AND MEXICAN FRIEND, SHE WALKED RIGHT BY OUR TABLE AND DIDNT SAY ANYTHING. SO THE LADY IN THE WHITE SHIRT IS RACIST. THIS HAPPEN TODAY, I JUST LEFT THERE.

The place is a typical fast food joint. I ordered a kids meal, the burger was tiny (meat) and over cooked. the fries were cold.the drink came with no ice. everything was greasy. The gal at the drive threw window was curt, did not count back change and dropped the kids drink out the window.

The lettuce on my burger smelt like trash. My fries were undercooked and tasted like fish. Cheese curds were of course, also under cooked. Youd probably find a better meal in the dumpster. Its a shame because I usually love a&w. Definitely save your money and skip this place.

Very friendly employees, great food, and clean facilities. They have mini jukeboxes at each table. Regardless of whether they work or not they add that nostalgic touch. They make their root beer right in the place too, served in ice cold mugs. Highly recommended.

Went to the drive thru and legit sat there for 30 min... to be honest i was tempted to just leave but the cashier came back and asked for my card to pay. So might as well just get my food and leave anyways a drive thru shouldnt take 30 min.

On a road trip and decided to visit a real A&W. So glad we did. Food was great and they make the Root Beer in house with real cane sugar. There are a lot of places to eat in sparks/reno but if you looking for a treat stop here.

Good experience each time I go here. Food is good, not great, but good. I love the root beer floats and the free refills! Convenient location with large parking lot. Expect car shows here any given summer night.

The service was great, and the food was fresh and hot and tasted great. Good value as well when compared to other fast food and employees actually washed their hands. Imagine that. Good place to eat.

Having been to many A&W in Canada, I was really looking forward going there. Unfortunately you cannot compare it. The burgers were okay, but far away from the delicious burgers we had in Canada

Not happy with my experience. Some troll with a white Dodge charger was at the drive through window for a very very long time. I could not get service.
