My family and I went to a show last night and thought wed top off a fun night with some ice cream. As we pulled up to the store one of the male employees rolled his eyes and threw his hands up in the air, annoyed that with us that we were there. Maybe I had the time wrong because he was putting chairs on the table as if they were closing, so I checked online again and it said the closing time was 10pm. We pulled up at 9pm. My husband ran inside to see if they were open and the other employee said they were closing. As my husband was walking back toward the car, the annoyed one mocked him and continued cleaning up the shop. The open sign was still lit up. The website said closes at 10pm. I understand closing 15 minutes early, but a whole hour? Thats money being missed out on. This is is the second time weve gotten horrible costumer service at what was once our favorite icecream spot. We wont be going back again.

I was hesitant to take my kids especially after reading other reviews. Yes the ice cream tasted bland as it is refrozen a bunch of times. You can tell look at the containers inside the shop. 31 flavors tastes way better. Also the shop was dirty and not clean and tidy. It wasnt a bad experience, but now I know to go to Baskin Robbins. Huge room for improvement. Customer service could use some work as well. Employees dont look happy to have a job.

Absolutely the BEST ice cream on the planet !!! You heard me , the customer service & the what seems like no frills decor is SPOT ON !!! Takes me back to when I was a kid , too hot to fish ...to hot to golf & Toooooooo cold at home !! Thank U Thrifty employees / Owners 4 giving me & My Clan a place to relax enjoy each other & most importantly ... Thank U for THE.............. Worlds Best Ice Cream so close to home !!!

This place has some pretty good ice cream. It was not as good as a Baskin Robbins, but it was still really good. I wish they had more variety in their flavors, but the flavors they had gave me a few options to choose from. One cool thing about this place is the way the ice cream is presented/put into the cone. It is the old school cylinder shaped versus regular spooned scoops.

Got here at 945pm. The door was locked and they were already mopping the floor. We were allowed in but was told to lock the door behind us. We stood there confused and wondering if we were supposed to lock ourselves in? We were serviced hastily and they locked the door behind us at 9:48pm.

This thrifty is terrific. The staff that works there is super friendly. Roy in particular is usually there when I stop by after work and he is just a really nice guy and very friendly! I always take friends and family there when we visit!

Thrifty ice cream lover from waaaay back. They let you sample any flavors that you like. Once you make your selection/s, they really "pack it in" the ice cream cartons. Delicious ice cream, reasonably priced. Thats all folks!!

This place was supposed to close at 10. We got here at 9:45 and the doors were locked. They let us in, and I know its pretty close to closing time, but I cant believe the employee told us to lock the the doors behind us

They must not have the ice cream at the right temperature because all I could taste was freezer burn ice shavings. Couldnt even taste the flavor, It was too gross to eat. Way too hot in there as well, wheres the AC?

This Ice cream is amazing and Ive loved thrifty ice cream since I was little kid. Every time Im over here I grab a scoop and always try a new flavor. Im never disappointed. Prices are a little high, but its worth it.

Ill never understand what people see in this ice cream. This is just like the kind of ice cream mom used to buy... back when we were on welfare. Id rather eat frozen yogurt. Thats how bad this ice cream is.

The best ice cream I have ever had. I used to get it when they were in RiteAid but since they all closed I didnt think I would ever get it again. Its super awesome they opened this so close to my house.

Good ice cream but it was like 90 degrees in there. Staff said that the owner doesnt like to run the A/C because it is too expensive. Makes you wonder what other corners they are cutting.

I love Thriftys... Pineapple Coconut is my fave #1. The Green Tea is my 2nd fave. This ice cream reminds me of my childhood.. 41 years this has been the best ice cream Ive ever had.
