As a true Sugaracholic- Coneflower Creamery was almost too sweet for even me! But lets back up first- I love handmade ice cream, locally sourced ingredients, and passionate workers. Plus who doesnt love that one of their slogans is "Farm to Cone" ?! As far as the ice cream itself, It is very good quality, they just didnt have any flavors that really interested me when I stopped by- Im more of a cream cheese raspberry chocolate connoisseur. So I went for the safe choice of Rocky Road. It was decent, but nothing astounding. The waffle cone was the real turn off for me- Suuuper thin, Suuuper covered in Sugar. Others in my party got the hot chocolate (A great Idea for Winter!) and they also reported that while it was delicious, it was overly rich. I wish they made the hot chocolate in a smaller size and a little cheaper- $8 is a little steep for something I would only enjoy 1/2 of. I am definitely open to coming again and trying a dish with another flavor.

I visited Coneflower Creamery during a work offsite. The experience was solid. Fats Waller vinyl was playing on a turntable, the shop was clean and modern with exposed brick, and the owner with round glasses and a handlebar mustache had a permanent grin from the pride of running his ice cream store. The flavors were delicious and unique, the cone was fresh, and the experience was memorable. I left with a cone shirt and a pint of pecan pie ice cream. I brought my wife the next day who also loved the place and bought a pint of rocky road. Everything is made in the shop with local ingredients. We dug it. You will, too! Go see Brian and his wonderful ice cream shop!

A small storefront ice cream shop in the Blackstone District really delivers on taste and flavor. Unique flavors you will not find elsewhere. Pricing is very reasonable. Rather small interior space and small outdoor seating area usually enough to accommodate customers, although most of us walk down the street eating our yummy treats. Watch out Ted and Wallys! This store is highly recommended, especially on those hot days or times when you need an ice cream fix! At our last visit, we had just eaten at Meatballs down the street. Our ice cream was the perfect dessert for a great evening!

This really is the tastiest treat Ive ate in a long time. There was a line wrapped around the curbside, but we asked others if they had tried it before in said line, they responded with an astounding "Its worth it". So there we were waiting in anticipation. And AGREED. It was worth it. So much so, that I have been back already to try other flavors. Their portions are smaller, however, after indulging it turns out theyre just the right amount. These folks really know what theyre doing. Go when you can! As much as you can!

Some places make you realize you cant go back to regular ice cream or scoop shops with basic, mass produced batches. Seasonal and ever changing, Ive had three of the most unique and delicious ice creams here (basil and white chocolate, gooey blue, and butterbrickle). They make it all from scratch. Yes, all of it. Cones, ice cream, and sprinkles. The employees are just the best and happy to suggest complimentary flavors. Cant wait to go back.

Ive visited three times in one week, I might have a problem! :) I love combining different flavors, its such a fun environment! Even when theres a line, it goes quickly and everyone is excited to get to the counter and place their order. The ice cream is top notch, nothing like Ive had anywhere else in Omaha - especially when they highlight a local ingredient on their social media, and I can go eat the ice cream made with it!

How can you even begin to describe the time of your life in a Google review. The atomsphere of the shop is so welcoming. The smell of fresh made waffle cones greet your nose the minute you open the door. You get swept off your feet with the records playing the the background. Now, to begin to describe the taste... If heaven were an ice cream if would be found at coneflower.

Best ice cream in omaha! This shop has a unique take on classic flavors as well as imaginative signature flavors like pumpkin cheesecake with Espresso caramel. The atmosphere is quaint with vinyl spinning in the background. Real hand crafted cones (Even the sprinkles are made in house) with quality local ingredients. Wish I would have bought a pint or 2! Well be back soon!

This is the best ice cream in Omaha by far. The Blackstone Butter Brickle is the best ice cream Ive ever had, and the amazing house made waffle cones are an extra treat. I live in Elkhorn and will drive all the way here just for that. Definitely worth the trip, Id drive to Lincoln and back just for this ice cream! Outstanding!!

This is a cute little shop with seating outside. It offers a lot of verity of ice cream but not really the basics. I mean they have vanilla bean, dark chocolate, and cookies and cream but some of the different ones are amazing. They do offer taste test before you decide and they are fairly cheap.

A delightfully unique ice cream store in the heart of the Blackstone District. The cookies and cream is my favorite but they have plenty of choices to keep you coming back. The lines can be long sometimes but they move very quickly and trust me it is worth the small wait.

Not sure its the best ice cream in Omaha, as the competition is pretty stiff, but its a nice addition to Blackstone. Flavor choices are creative, quality was certainly above average, very clean and organized (not so at one of their competitors) and staff is excellent.

You can tell the ice cream at Coneflower Creamery is made with real ingredients-i.e. There were tiny bits of mint leaves in the mint chip ice cream. It was so fresh tasting. I loved it! Amazing! The Butterbrickle(toffee) and Dark Chocolate are also divine. Well be back.

Awesome ice cream - I had the peanut butter chip, dark chocolate and salted caramel and my husband had the Archetype coffee, mint chip, and peanut butter chip. We both couldnt have enough of our flavors! They were pretty busy because it was late but worth the wait!

So many ice cream flavors, so little time so we keep going back. Blackstone Butterbrickle is what I love the best! Parking is a bit of an issue (meters not always available especially during peak hours) but I dont mind walking a block or two to get my sweet fix...

Its very good and fresh. But if you compare the price with other ice creams from the stores like Walmart, Hyvee its seems to be expensive. Its good to have just nice quick walk ice cream with friends. Its better than ice creams from the food chains like Windys.
