Today is starting off with breakfast. However its turned into brunch. Not because of my timing for this meal, but because its so much delicious food. There is an hour wait this morning at 11-Worth. This is a breakfast and lunch only spot that seems to have a never ending line of patrons , for just cause. I ordered the Country Potato Casserole. This could be renamed to "everything great about breakfast" and clear up the confusion of what a "potato casserole" is. Country fried steak, hash browns, cheese (processed American and processed white American), onions, red and green peppers, and mushrooms. All cooked together in a giant mound. Easily 2 1/2 lbs of food. It then comes with toast, which can be subbed for any of a half dozen other bread options, I went French toast. Plus two eggs prepared how you like. I took over easy to put on top of my kitchen sink method breakfast. In the end, I now have left overs for lunch and, possibly, dinner. 11-Worth is doing diner food in a truly epic way.

We made the mistake of going here on Fathers Day. It was packed and had a long wait. The front area was too crowded to wait inside and it was a very hot morning. So we had to stay outside with our baby in the heat. We stood around the corner and had one member constantly checking our wait while we stood in the shade. It seems like a place this popular could invest in the texting technology many others have now to let you know your table is ready. Their food is delicious, but the vegetarian in our party specifically ordered a meat free dish and it arrived covered in sausage gravy. Luckily another member of our group had pancakes and they switched to avoid having to wait on another dish. The waitress mixed up our split bills putting the wrong people on each receipt but our totals were about the same amount so we just paid it the way it was instead of having it corrected. Their food made up for the other issues we had, since we all enjoyed our food and we all got something different.

Great place, awesome menu selections and portions are big for the money!! just be sure not to get seated in HEATHERs section. Shes angry, bitter and the most rude waitress I have ever seen! That says alot since i have a extensive background in the restaurant business and have seen my fair share of burned out, negative servers. This woman will not properly greet anyone. Acts as though your ruining her day by having her wait on you and she blatantly counts her tips and speaks loudly about not wanting certain tables and wondering how much the tip is AFTER she ruined your entire experience! Shes the only bad waitress there and for some reason they dont get rid of her! 3 times now Ive brought new customers in for the first time and had to sit in her section and all 3 will never ever return! its unfortunate. I give the restaurant 5 stars and i give Heather -5 stars.

Ive been coming here since 1988 and Ive never had a bad meal. Even when the place is busy as heck the service is really fast and friendly. On a Saturday our or Sunday you might have an hour wait to get seated but its worth it. I recommended the chicken fried steak breakfast or the Mexican casserole or the biscuits and gravy. Breakfast is served all day, they have lunches too but the breakfasts are so awesome that I usually get those no matter what time I go. They have a good discount on weekdays, too, if you sign up for one of their cards. The parking is problematic, the lot is on the other side of a busy street but there are 2 handicapped parking spaces directly to the east of the building in the convenience store parking lot.

Returned to the 11-Worth Cafe on a holiday trip to the Omaha area (we moved from the area 13 yrs. ago). The food was as good as ever. (Though the Mr. did miss the grits, that are no longer on the menu.) The place was bustling with a Sunday mid-day crowd and everyone was friendly and the wait was not long. Our waitress was wonderful, kept the glasses full, and made sure everyone was satisfied with our food. Our table of 5 tried everything from the veggie burger, a patty-melt, to french toast and hashbrowns. All of us were equally happy with our food. This will have to become a regular stop on trips to Omaha in the future. We stayed away too long. Glad to find an old friend still doing well in Omaha.

Place is a little better than most. I ordered the chicken fried steak breakfast. CFS was of the frozen disk variety. Being from Texas I know what a decent CFS is supposed to look and taste like. This wasnt even close.gravy on the CFS was clearly from the dollar store packet type. Hashbrown were decent at best. Waited staff was friendly but on the obnoxious side and a little unkept, Id hate to see what the kitchen looks like. Omaha has some great eateries and the best part of this spot is its nostalgic feel and large portions. Other than that its just a typical Midwest diner: strait forward menu with all of the American breakfast staples available cooked with the Midwest taste buds in mind.

Me and my boyfriend decided to try this place out,and it was probably the best decision we ever made. Our experience was great our waitress name was CC and she was probably the best waitress i have ever had attend me. She noticed it was our first time going and she explained everything to us and told us that we will probably be leaving with leftovers since the portions are big, and she was right. I got the pancakes and two eggs and the pancakes were the best Ive ever had. CC was great and she made us part of the VIP which took 15% off our ticket and it was super cheap for the amount of food we had. We will definitely go back for more! Great service I have no complaints.

My husband and I used to eat here almost every Sunday and the food and service was impeccable. For the past two months, each time we went here, we waited at least twenty to thirty minutes to sit down. No problem, I will wait for good food. But after we were seated, the wait for our food extended into the thirty minute range, which in my opinion, is unacceptable for eggs, hash browns and toast. The owners are wonderful, but they need to try and address the amount of time it takes just to get your food. We havent been back since the last hour and half breakfast, now we go to Louie Ms, which is fantastic! And much cleaner!
