No, seriously, this is definitely the best, and I dont mean that to sound like its damning by faint praise. Suwannee far outshines everything else in town - the curries are flavorful and rich, the veggies crisp and fresh, and the service efficient but friendly, especially if youre a regular of any stripe. Sure, theres room for improvement: the place is very small, so it fills up quickly, especially at lunch time and weekend nights, and there have been a lot of adjustments made for the midwestern palate, so dont expect a lot of heat. I really hope they get the chance to move out of their current location soon, but no matter where they are, Ill be going again and again.

The food is amazing, although the lunch portions are a little small. I call and order food to go 90% of the time and it used to be a reasonable time, around 20 minutes, and now its always an hour weather it be lunch or supper. It also seems as if answering the phone to take orders to go is never a high priority. I do know many people carry out meals, so if your current location is to small Id encourage an upgrade to ensure better business.

Quite simply the best, not just in Kearney, or Nebraska, or the Midwest!! Many vegetarian choices. The eggplant dish is out of this world! the PadThai is fantabulous! The ginger tea is a must! And wonderful customer service. But dont take my word! Go at 11:30 PM and wait for 45 minutes for a table! There is is your proof! Great food plus great customer service is a winning combination.

Food was so good, service NOT! Asked for a glass of water four times to first waitress. They were not busy. Finally asked second waitress and she hooked us up. Drinks were empty, never asked for refills and we got our food after three other couples that sat down after us got food before us. Again food was good, waitress we had was horrible. Bypass this place if you want ontime service.

Firstly, our food was spectacular! My girlfriend and I are from Chicago and our expectations of food are high to say the least. This place overcame our expectations with the food and service! Our server Austin was awesome and even though he was the only server he made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Great food and a great experience 5 stars!

My husband and I were in town for the night and always looking for yummy Thai food. Suwannee Thai Cuisine did not disappoint. We had egg rolls, pad thai with chicken, drunken noodle with beef, and the mango sticky rice. Everything was amazing and some of the best Thai food weve had (which is a lot)! Staff was friendly and attentive! Thank you!

Dated 2 thai girls and ate thai food in Hawaii where many come from Thailand to live. This is BY FAR the best thai food I have had since I left Hawaii and those 2 girls haha. You will find NO BETTER in the state of Nebraska for sure as I live in Omaha and they all strikeout. Worth every penny, and you will not regret it!

Super authentic Thai restaurant tucked away new the UNK campus. Shared the appetizer sampler and recommend the wrapped shrimp. The pad thai was excellent, not too heavy or too sweet. The restaurant ambiance isnt anything special, so if youre a local, id recommend take out. Id eat here again!

Ordinary, acceptable, but no fresh spikes of galangal or lime leaf or fresh spices that characterize better Thai food. We were a group of 10, arriving without a reservation and the small place handled it seamlessly with good service. I was surprised to find a place this good in Kearney.

Passing through on I80 and not interested in the usual selection of fast food. Wasnt sure it would be worth going that far off the highway, but it was totally worth it! Food was top notch, presentation was beautiful and service excellent. Definitely worth the detour.

They use too much sugar to sweeten their dishes or to tone down their spicier ones. Service was good, however the food didnt come close to meeting my expectations. I went back again about a month ago and the food is actually worse. Too much sugar!

We walked in based on the nearly 5 star rating on Google and Zomato. The ratings were correct! Choo Chee Salmon was crazy good and my wifes crispy chicken was fantastic. Service was average, but the kitchen deserves great kudos!

Excellent everything! Super busy during our visit, but we had no wanting for anything better or different. Our server Reece, was courtious and efficient. Authentic Thai flavors, complex and distinct in all our varied dishes.

I had chicken curry, the chicken was undercooked and almost raw. Asked for one that had better cooked chicken, and the chicken was still undercooked the second time around. On the bright side I liked the Thai ice tea.

Everything was so delicious.. I really recommend this place.. I wish they had another restaurant close to my house in Dallas.. I guess when i go back to Nebraska I will be coming to this place for sure... yummy

Used to be amazing! Since then the recipes have changed or something. The pad see u and drunken noodles were really sweet. Not good at all. Service was non-existent from our waitress as well.

I actually LOVE Suwannee, and would come here more often if there wasnt such a wait to get food. Best Thai food Ive ever had, but it would be awesome to see a bigger place and more help.

Food is amazing! I always get the drunken noodles and shrimp in a blanket as an appetizer. Carry out can take a while (usually an hour wait) but just plan ahead and it is worth it.
