I decided to leave a comment as it is important for other reviewing potential customers to read the improvements in their foods during the short time since they opened. Obviously the owners listen keenly to customers. I lunched at Whistle Pig when they first open, even though it was their first day everything seems to go smoothly in serving me. I ordered Bibimbap and kimchi and mundu (special for the day). It was okay in my opinion, kimchi was bland on that day as others mentioned. I went back to try again 2 weeks later, and Oh My, what an improvement they have made. I ordered their Bibimbap and Kimchi, forget Bibimbap for now. l want to share her Kimchi is now the most authentic I’ve had anywhere, and I am Korean; it is fresh, just the right amount of garlic, ginger, red chili pepper and it is made right there in house! Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. If you are Kimchi connoisseur this is the place to go, in fact I ordered it to go for the next day as well, to eat with my other foods. Kimchi goes with any food. Kimchi is eaten worldwide for health reasons too. As for Bibimbap, each vegetable had its own flavor compared to before, i.e., my first try the day they opened. Far tastier, with just the right amount of spice in the sauce. For those not familiar the sauce you put on to mix with all the ingredients. This Young entrepreneur couple manage this restaurant with many smiles and always give wonderful welcome. “I’ll be back” often for more of that Kimchi!

Just pulled into town for a few days of ice climbing and this little joint shows up on the Yelp. It gets great reviews and we are hungry. Right on the corner of Wilson nestled in an office building. The dining room was up to date, clean and tidy. The bathrooms were nice and pleasant as well. We were treated to some fermented cucumbers to start and then ordered the Japshe (sweet potato noodles) with chicken, kimchi, fried tofu, bibimbap with spicy pork, as well as barley tea. The wait staff was attentive, the food prepared timely and was sooo... delicious! So spicy it made my nose run! Love it!!

My fiance and I live in Billings and decided to make a spontaneous trip to Bozeman one day. We found this place thanks to Google recommendations. We loved it! The entire staff was very welcoming and efficient. We dont have a Korean eatery here in Billings, and our waitress was happy to give us recommendations. We decided to share an entree, and the kitchen sent it out on two plates without us asking. We are already planning on going back soon. The two hour drive is worth it.

If youre vegan, then you know the struggle of finding delicious restaurants. As a vegan travelling for work, I have found that not many places around here actually serve good vegan dishes without having to "make them vegan," which can feel snobbish. This place clearly labels what is vegan and offers plenty of options that dont make you feel like youre missing out on what the restaurant and Korean cuisine has to offer. Definitely come here.

I love Korean food, and the Whistle Pig didnt disappoint. The bulgogi bibimbop was everything I was hoping for, and the kimchi had just enough spice (Im kind of a wuss when it comes to spice though.) The restaurant is very clean, and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Just a block down from Mainstreet on Wilsons, the Whistle Pig is most certainly worth the stop. (Look for Teds then walk towards the Bridgers.)

The food is delicious and authentic, the waitstaff are attentive and friendly, and the vibe is relaxed. We had barley tea, dolsot bibimbab with bulgogi, and hotteok for dessert, and everything was wonderful. The endless pickle appetizer was also delicious. Even the water was lovely - lightly flavored with lemon. Cant recommend this place enough!

first off the food is amazing. Second, not knowing a thing about Korean food the owner took the time to explain how it works and what the items were. they are so helpful and friendly. Did I mention the food was amazing yet? what ever you do get the hot pot bowls with your meal, it makes it the best! looking forward to my next visit very soon

Fantastic! Im road tripping and decided to stop off here. Food was even better than I expected and came out fast! Authentic bibimbap. Staff was very courteous. Very impressed! They also have bottles of Stumptown cold brew, which was a pleasant surprise as well. If youre even remotely thinking about stopping here, do it!

Ive been coming here for 2 years and prices seem to be going up, forcing me to eat here less often. They used to serve a lot more pickles for appetizers. Atmosphere is weird, you pay "sit down" prices, sit at cafe style seating and listen to some kind of Korean Gangnam style hip-hop.

Whats that sizzling sound I hear? Its Bulgogi Bibimbop sizzling style my dear! That is my favorite dish here and I cant get enough. There are other things on the menu but I cant seem to stray very far. Friendly staff in this laid back restaurant. Love it!

Hands down the best vegetarian food in Bozeman. The owners are very nice and their new table service has made customer service way better. My one problem is that the portions are huge. I always end up getting a takeout box

Really enjoyed the delicious Bulgogi Bibimbap! Enough for two to share and then have room for a tasty dessert treat (forgot the name.) You get hot sauce with the Bibimbap to spice it up to your taste. Delicious!

Fantastic Korean food, and if youre not sure of what to get, ask the staff. They were great! The building was cozy and was great for a meal for two. Highly recommended if you want to eat Korean food.

Amazing! The ingredients were ever so fresh and crisp (where appropriate). The Kimchi was just the right level of spicy. Plenty of vegetarian options are available. And the dumplings... oh wow.

Great food, even for a newbie to Korean food like myself. Nice and attentive wait staff as well. Id definitely go again. The only thing lacking is a nicer atmosphere, but it was adequate.
