This coffee spot is awesome!! I had been to only a few in town and never got the courage to try a new place, that is until a few months ago. First off, I absolutely detest Starbucks, their coffee is bitter and I have never had a coffee ever even come close to the same one I ordered the time before, so the only reason that I would go there was because they had a drive through and I needed coffee. Because most of the coffee I had gotten at Starbucks was horrible, I was a little afraid to try a new place, but I was soooo incredibly happy that I did! I ordered the Dirty Chai for my first drink and I was sold, I actually saved some to let my husband try, and he loved it as well. Not only was the drink perfection, but the locale is excellent ( right up the rode from us ;) and the drive thru is speedy. Their service is great, they are super friendly and make their drinks the same every time I get one. They also have a "rewards" card, which is scanned with every purchase for free items. I got one after the first trip because I knew I was going to spend a lot of money here. My kids love the Mango Tango and they always split it into two cups for them to share. Ive had their blueberry muffin and their sausage and cheese scones, both were delish! If you have been getting inferior coffee, you need to give this place a try, you will not be disappointed.

Ive visited Dancing Mule once and overall had a positive experience. Here are some things I liked and didnt like. Im a black coffee drinker and DM seems to specialize more in lattes and specialty drinks. The blend I had was good, so thats a positive. But theres wasnt a selection of single origins or different brewing methods. They get huge points for serving their staying customers in actual mugs instead of paper cups. However, drinking black coffee out of a bowl-style mug isnt exactly a pleasant experience. A diner-style mug wouldve been perfect. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was fine. But it was a cold day and every time the drive-thru window would open it would fill the café with cold air. Wifi was reliable and parking was super easy. Again, all in all it was a good experience. But its not a go-to place for serious coffee drinkers. Thanks!

We had the opportunity to dine-in at this coffee shop during their free drink day. Although they were incredibly busy, the people behind the counter did a great job. The coffee was great and reasonably priced. What we really got a kick out of is the two rocking chairs that customers can lounge in if theyd like. Overall, this place has a great family atmosphere with kids menu items. Oh...and, theyve got a drive thru. We hope to see these guys stick around for a while!

I was pleased with this coffee shop. Not a whole lot to say: friendly staff, a pleasant location, good coffee. My barista obliged my request for a weird Americano, and I enjoyed myself on a charming little bench out front, sipping my coffee with a good book as I watched the world go by. Good stuff, indeed. My thank goes out to all associated with this business. I am grateful for, and have benefited from, your work and service. Keep it up!

I was in this am and ordered something a little different-some Hot chocolate. They asked me ceramic or paper cup. I told them what ever was easier since I was dinning in. I received the drink with and unexpected surprise- a design out of milk. I little extra-special touch to make a great start to my day. I have never had another company do this just for hot chocolate. Thanks for the great coffee as always!

This is our go-to coffee stop! The Dancing Mule has an amazing assortment of eats and coffee drinks that are all good. Our lattes are always served at JUST the right temperature, and you absolutely cannot go wrong starting your day off with a gently warmed sausage & cheddar cheese scone, which are always large, fluffy, and disappear so fast once they reach my hands!

My vote is in: five glorious stars. I grabbed a medium roast pour over and had it served to me in a wonderfully inviting mug. The service was spot on and the atmosphere was on point. I even heard some fantastic music (M83) as I sipped slowly and savored the love. Start your day off right and treat yourself to a delicious cup of coffee from The Dancing Mule.

Great coffee, great service. They also frequently offer opportunities to learn about the different types of coffee, their origins, the roasting process, etc. Like a wine tasting! They have different coffees to offer on a daily basis, but also offer packaged coffee for sale. Try the Ad Astra if you love a rich, bold dark roast, its my favorite.

I created an account specifically to give The Dancing Mule a great review. I have been there 3 times now and their coffee is delicious every time. The first time I neglected to remove the lid from my coffee (drive through), but the second and third time both of my drinks had creamer art! The staff is friendly and the prices are fair.

This is by far the best tasting coffee in town and the cheapest. They use PTs brand coffee and it is superb. A very nice laid back atmosphere with a wonderful staff. The drive-thru is also very convenient and you still get wonderful service. Even though they are primarily a coffee shop they also have sandwiches and assorted goodies.

Everyone here is always so friendly and this includes not just the baristas but the customers as well. The espresso is probably the best Ive ever had. I dont like to go anywhere else because I know Ill just be disappointed with either the coffee or the level of service I receive. Highly recommend!

Dancing mule is a great place to not only have great coffee made by the coffee "perfectionists" but also have meetings, sit with friends or they have a speedy drive thru! Randy honestly knows his beans and the countless different ways to brew, and serve great coffee.

Great coffee, great staff! Just dont give frappuccino to your young children before a 6-hour road trip, even if they beg :) Fun to watch for a while but 4 pit stops later your spouse might get frustrated. Woops! Enjoy a good coffee at Dancing Mule Coffee shop.

Dancing Mule is one of my favorite spots. I enjoy good coffee and espresso and dancing mule always has both. As a local business owner it is important to me to spend my money in other locally owned businesses. If you are on the east side you need to stop in!

This is my favorite meeting spot in Springfield. Not only is the coffee excellent, but the staff is so engaging that you will find that the hospitality spreads to other patrons as well. It is truly the community coffee shop!

Awesome coffee, wonderful (and patient) staff! The gingerbread latte beats the gingerbread latte I had at Seattles Best in Borders. The sandwiches and pastry are excellent too! I plan on becoming a regular at this place!
