Very disappointed and left wondering if the Health Department forgot about this place,or if cleanliness is not a requirement to keep a restaurant open. I am not a fan of review bashing how ever I was just dismayed at the lack of care this place has when it comes to cleanliness, a layer grease was covering the "bused" tables and chairs, and the smell of dirt and grime become overwhelming from food that was ground into the now black carpets. I am not a "clean freak" by any means, but had a hard time finding a clean plate or utensils; I felt as if I was the only one who cared if you could feel the residue of food on the plate you were about to be eating off of. All in all I did enjoy taste of the food and the service was friendly, the waitress apologized for busing our table and storing a tray of dirty dishes on it before we were finished dining; sadly she must of been accustomed to not being tipped because she thought we had left the restaurant. I am hoping that the District Management reads this review and finds my toughs as well as the comments of cleanliness from other reviews as a opportunity to tell the Managing personnel to over see some greatly needed changes. I could not go back to this establishment knowing how unkempt the dining area is, I couldnt imagine how the kitchen looks or operates. One last comment I did not get sick from dining here but would not have been surprised it that was the case. Sorry to bash you Golden Coral I really am, I hope I wasnt too harsh, but is cleanliness too much to ask for?

I mean I know when I went there yeah sure there was spots in the carpet but its kinda hard to clean spots when their alot of people walking around. Fair statement right? But I must say the food was poorly cook and not done by health standards at all. I think the manger should read these reviews and fix it. Not all of us are here to shut down a business or have people get fire. But we are just giving a honest review and input negative or positive. I personally dont want someone to lose their job but when comes to public health im pretty sure people will wait for the food to be cook instead. I get the whole cant have customers wait but most people would rather wait and have it cook and done right then get sick. And if customers complain about waiting tell them its because its not fully cook yet. But when you have more negatives then postives a great and honest review should be conducted. And if that means to hire new people put a sign out be steen as a manger cause one day it might be your ass if your too nice. And I know its hard to find people but they will come eventually just gotta set the bar is all.

ive been at a few gc in the area most notably raymore and this one..this one has a larger selection to choose from as opposed to tthe raymore one.as in all of them the hamburgers seem to be made of bits of unused useless beef parts and are so frickin disgusting i wont even touch them.im a person who looks before he bites and when you bite into a burger that is created from grissel and odd chunks for me that is sick..also in all gc the fish is a sub standard fish kinda like talipia --its a good fish but not cod.i have seen cops open carry there and i believe i asked about open carry once and if memory serves they had no issue with it..again i would suggest if you do open carry do not overboard it..i do know the pizza ranch in zona rosa is absolutely fine with oc.anyway this gc has been up to par on most things and remember not all of them have the same selection of food or the space for that selection.im giving three stars just cause ive been vip at //harrahs / hollywood casionao / ameristar /

Ate there tonight and never again, I called bc the wait at other places was too long was told they close at 10:30 but they closed at 10. We got there about 9:15. Everything I picked tasted terrible and the selection was picked through. Breads and rolls were smashed and broken, desert bar was dry and messy and also all the cakes were smashed. Chocolate cake looked like soup, no cheese for nachos and the silverware was extremely gross. The best thing there was the icecream and gummy bears. The place was completely dirty, employees unhappy and overworked and understaffed. So not worth 28$ for two people when we ate about 5$ worth of food. First time and very disappointed!!! Also the bathroom I wanted to puke, 8 months pregnant and it smelled and looked awful!! Toilet paper everywhere and hanging out of toilets very disgusting and unsanitary .

Golden Corral is one of those places you go when no one can agree on something. Everyone can find something they like at Golden Corral! We did the breakfast buffet, and it wasnt terrible. There were some lunch selections out - full salad bar, tacos, baked potatoes - and quite a few breakfast selections. Blueberry pancakes and regular, French toast, waffles, ham, sausage links and patties, bacon, geits, hashbrowns, hash brown casserole - standard breakfast fare. Their dessert bar had its usual fare - pie, cake, fudge, and the chocolate fountain. Its not five star cuisine, so if thats what youre looking for, this is not the place. But its clean, the food is decent, and its not super expensive.

I was in there the other day with my child, he is a child that has a few problems (He is very, very autistic). But a worker that was oriental looking, he had an odd voice that I could hardly understand. He came up to the table with me and my child. And he kept asking what is wrong with him. He kept saying him. HE KEPT ASSUMING THE GENDER OF MY CHILD, HE NEVER ASKED HIM. HE JUST SIMPLY ASSUMED. And he kept spitting when he talked and reminded me of an autistic chimp that drug a 5 year old child around the zoo and then got shot. Please get rid of this monster he is mentally hurting me and my family. This disgusts me, and I also saw him picking his nose when he was at the cashier.

You get what you pay for, being able to eat until you explode is the ideal mindset of the mouth breathing, "big boned", simple minded clientele that this chain attracts. My most recent experience involved watching a morbidly obese woman, who was high AF, fall to the ground in front of the buffet and have to be brought a chair to sit in while she regained her composure. The staff and management didnt seem to think this was out of the ordinary, and the rest of the patrons just walked around her to get to the food. I dont think they have ever cleaned the bathroom, ever. Id rather go hungry than go there again.

The fish was raw the steak was Bloody the chicken was raw they allow people to dip the chocolate with a fork they didnt even have they dont even have the sticks to dinner with they let you use a Ford then they didnt even tell me that it was Stove Top Stuffing instead of dressing this place is horrible and if you come from out of town do not go there do not go there I repeat its not worth $16 more like $6 the customer services was terrible but the general manager he tried his best to correct the mistakes from The Kooks and they look like they got a lot of pedophiles walking around in there working
