We stopped by Three Kings Public House while out doing errands in West county. The menu looked good online, the photos looked good online, and we were in the mood for a fancy burger. We got there for Happy Hour and the wait staff told us about the half price drinks available (solid selection, if this were close to work it might be dangerous), staff grabbed our drinks and let us peruse the menu. We both got burgers and split them. Three Kings easily makes the best burgers that we have had in St Louis. A basic burger would have been excellent on its own as the meat was well seasoned and juicy, the brioche bun was soft and fresh, and the veggies (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles) were crisp and flavorful. However, the gourmet toppings are excellent so Id still skip a basic burger, we had the Flamethrower and the Bacon Jam Pub burger, and loved every minute of it. Fries are thick cut and crisp while the sweet potato fries were waffle cut and crisp. Im definitely excited to to return and bring friends next time. Aside: Three Kings was pushing an app called Oper which seemed kind of shady as you had to put your credit card info into the app to get a coupon.

Decided to try this place out with the girlfriend on a whim, and was not disappointed! I loved the sort of English pub atmosphere and decor; everything was clean and well presented with its own flavor and heart. The service was fast and great. I ordered the Flamethrower burger with sweet potato fries, and the girlfriend ordered the Southwest Chipotle Burger with a salad. Ill start off by saying that this is the first establishment that cooked my burger exactly how I asked, which immediately gives them points in my mind. Beyond that, the burger was incredibly good. The sweet potato fries were no exception. The girlfriends burger was apparently great, and she enjoyed her salad. Portion sizes seemed perfect for both of us, and we left very satisfied. I highly recommend this place!

We decided to try this place on Friday for dinner with another couple. The atmosphere is great feels warm and welcoming. The beer selection was perfect. We felt the food preparation was subpar! My gf asked for her burger medium-rare and it was well done which was obvious from just the chared outside. I got the poboy and was very disappointed. The poboy lacked on flavor and any kind of spice. The four shrimp that were in the poboy were WAY over cooked I had to try and hold the shrimp in the sandwich when I took a bite! I feel the poboy should have had smaller bite sized shrimp.

I love the Three Kings in University City. And I want to love the one in Des Peres, but every time I go there I am disappointed. We tried 3/4 of their signature cocktails, and they are all very disjointed. Just too many ingredients to be good. Someone is trying to hard to get real creative, and it is not working. Also the potato skins (all 4 of them) were skimpy, and bad. Service was pretty good most times. It is usually very busy, but I think that will die down once the novelty wears off. Hopefully they can get their act together soon, because I really want to like it there.

Have been going to 3 Kings (both Delmar and Machester Locations) since the Delmar Location opened. The food in the past was chef inspired using the freshest of ingredients sourced locally. The food had soul and was expertly prepared. That era seems to be over. The Gyro Salad in past had real Gyro meat, it now has prepackaged nuggets. The fried chicken used to be some of the best in STL, now its about as good as McDonalds and as fresh. I am not trying to zing shade on the establishment but they need to step up it up to be back to the level of polish they formerly had.

Three Kings is one of our favorite restaurants in the St. Louis area, and after visiting the one in the Loop, we were thrilled to find an option closer to home. The easy access to 270 and proximity to West County Mall have made it a frequent weekend stop for us. We love the rotating beer list, and the bartenders are always willing to mix up something new. My personal favorite is the Southwest Burger. The jalapenõs and chipotle mayo are the perfect accent to their seasoning. The fries are to die for. I could eat an entire plate of them if left to my own devices.

Wonderful! Started out ordering a Black-n-Tan and they got it right. For dinner I ordered the Bangers and Mash. REAL mashed potatoes (still a little chunky; just the way I like it), perfectly cooked sausage, and the gravy was amazing. Caramelized onions in the gravy made it all come together. My son got the Mussels with fries appetizer (which he inhaled) and my husband got the Shrimp Po-Boy (which my husband said was good; "it was a po-boy".) Overall, food was excellent and service was great. Definitely recommend.

Food was phenomenal! Menu items are very different and all sounded so amazing, it was hard to choose! I had the Asian Kale and Collard Greens salad it was really tasty. The dressing was so good that I had to order another helping (which I never do)! Hubby had a burger and fries; both really great. The atmosphere was pleasant, decor is interesting and very urban. The server was friendly and attentive. We are definitely coming back to this place!

Ive toured quite a bit of the menu and havent had anything I dont like. Any time they offer vegetable minestrone as soup of the day, do yourself a favor and try it. Good beer list. Good atmosphere with easily viewed TVs but not too many. Sometimes hard to get a table for dinner. Also, probably because theyre so busy, service can be slow. But theyre always friendly and otherwise eager to please.

Food was pretty bland and poorly cooked (sausages in the Bangers and Mash were mostly pink on the inside), service was slow and unenthusiastic, and I was extremely disappointed that bottled Stella was the only hard cider option. Probably fine if youre mostly looking for an American-style tavern, but disappointing if you really want a British pub. Definitely not worth the price for us.

The food here is great. During the day i took my family and that was nice and during the night. I took just my wife and it was great for a date night. I ordered pick up and set at the bar watching sports and that was great. The online order service is not good but the bar tender ask me to check everything before i left to make sure it was right. Just a great experience all around

We went on a Friday night and had to wait an hour. Not much room to wait and we were concerned it wasnt going to be worth it. Once we were seated and got our food we forgot all about that. The food was phenomenal. We talked about it half the way home afterwards. Worth and hour wait but we will be going back at a better time!

Came here with a group of friends for some drinks. The service was good until we told our waitress we werent ordering dinner, just drinks. After two rounds we decided to go somewhere else because we had to wait too long to order another round. The drafts are good, but the service could be much better.
