I enjoy going here from time to time. Having lived in Chicago and New York, I have yet to find a place in St. Louis that competes with what Im used to. But with that said, this place is quite decent for St. Louis. Ive only gotten the large pizza here. I usually split it with another person. Normally I dont eat half a pizza, but the crust on this stuff is a lot lighter than your typical pizza (not cracker crust mind you, just lighter ... hard to describe - different from both Chicago thin and NY style). Slightly on the pricey side for me when it comes to pizza, but tolerable. If we are comparing to Papa Johns, or Dominos, or Pizza Hut, I would choose this place hands down. I havent tried this pizza cold though, so Im not sure how it would compare eaten cold.

GREASY, NASTY pizza. I love ALL types of pizza from thin to thick, Chicago to Cali... but this stuff is disgusting. Customer service was adequate (not overly friendly, but they did the job), quickly tended to and nice enough. The "sausage" on the pizza reminded me of something worse than bacon bits, almost like they just pulverized the fake bacon bits and dusted them on the pizza. Gross. The strombolli was literally swimming in a pool of grease when served at our table. Not anywhere near worth $30 for one small pizza, a strombolli and four sodas. Wont be returning. Ive had "real" east coast pizza before, and this was nowhere close in taste or texture. The only thing they got right was the decor/atmosphere.

I have never liked meat on pizza. Its usually too oily or has a bad flavor. When I go to East Coast Pizza, I always get the Meaty. Its probably my favorite pizza ever. Are there other good pizza places in St. Louis? Yes. Are there better places outside St. Louis? Probably. But East Coast Pizza is the best pizza place Ive found so far in St. Louis. Its up there along with Feraros, Bridge & Tunnel and Deweys. Ive never had bad service or a long wait. This is one of those places you just have to try if you live in St. Louis and love pizza. To the person who though there was a "poor selection" at lunch: are you friggin kidding me? What could you possibly be looking for on a pizza that was unavailable?

We often look for pizzerias that have a good NY-style crust, and East Coast Pizza made everyone in my family happy. We walked into this fast-casual type restaurant, and got excited to see the large brick ovens and pie makers throwing the dough in the air. After ordering, we found a seat with a good view of the football game and although the restaurant was busy, the wait time was only about 15 minutes. There are a few TVs, and an area in the back for larger groups. We got the BBQ Chicken pizza and garlic knots, both we would get again, but I am excited to try their other menu items. The ingredients tasted good, especially the stringy and flavorful mozzarella cheese.

A filthy dirty place! The food seemed fresh. Food came out quickly. Large salad on a plate with no way to serve it ended up using my hands to grab up salad. pizza came out later, nothing to serve it with either. The pizza stand had food and splatters all over the base of the stand, filthy, no way to tell if the surface my pizza was sitting on was clean. every table except 4 others had food and trash from last people there. No one busing them. The floor was dirty. I was there on a Friday May 29 at 1:35pm. I am sure I was after the lunch rush but no busing took place while I was there either. Filthy!

Food...poisoning. Service, absolutely terrible. Rude. Food nearly set ON one of my kids. Nothing to serve the salad or pizza with. Salad overflowing off a plate, too small for it. Employees openly bad mouthing us to each other (loudly) for quietly voicing our concern for the green haired, nose ring little girl cussing under her breath at us after putting the food on the table. Btw - We actually thought the way she looked was cool, until the attitude and treatment. Will not go again. Not worth it. Sick for two days after. Sorry. But true.

Their NY style pizza is usually pretty good and they offer pizza by the slice as part of an $8 lunch deal. The Caesar salad I got as part of the lunch special was gross. It was swimming in dressing and the lettuce had the consistency of cooked spinach. The iced tea is gross as it is dispensed from a machine and not freshly brewed. 8 dollars for lunch aint bad but there are little things they can do much better.

St Louis is not a great pizza town. This is probably the best NY style pizza Ive had, and I eat it pretty often. It doesnt get better than this for pizza way out in Chesterfield, thats for sure. Recommended to all east coasters looking for a pizza fix, but dont necessarily expect it to be as good as what you can find in Philly or NY.

PIZZA! Youre in for a great dining experience when you come here. The food is great and theres always something kind of special available should you be interested in that. The staff is pleasant and the dining area is pretty clean and spacious. The pizza, stromboli, and canzones are great. Avoid the spaghetti brought. Its too watery!

The first time we went it was phenomenal. The pizza we wanted was cooked fresh and perfect. Coming back a second time, we were told they only cook our pizza on the weekend and we couldnt have it today. The woman was very rude. Experience definitely depends on whoever is working.

We love this place. The calzones are the best. My family also loves the buffalo pizza. The only thing I would change would be the tea. They need to fresh brew it. Great tasting food but the tea is from a cheep knock off container.

First time trying it and we were NOT disappointed! Easily some of the best pizza Ive had in STL (top 3). Refreshing to have a great option for those who dont like STL-style (like me). Highly recommended. Will definitely be going back.

Decent pizza in St Louis is hard to find. This establishment is very much east coast quality and flavor! Strongly encourage other frustrated transplanted pizza lovers to give it a try. Reminds me of being back in NY again!

This pizza is decent for New York Style pizza in St. Louis where Imos cracker and Provel grossness reins King. East Coast Pizzas crust in crisp, yet chewy, could use more cheese though. Overall, pretty good.

We cant get enough of their stromboli! Havent tried the pizza because we keep ordering the stromboli. The italian or greek salads are good too. Two of us share a small salad. Never had a bad meal!
