Enjoyed a nice meal with my family here last night. Had been looking for a place to have a meal outside with my wife and two young daughters and this place seemed like a good choice. Pizza a good, beer was cold and staff was friendly and courteous. Wine selection could have been better and the decision to make this a walk up, pay and wait kind of restaurant is functional but seriously restricts the amount of business they can do. We would have bought several more beverages if not for having to get up and go inside to order and pay for them. And there was clearly enough employees on hand to make this happen. I also watched as table after table of patrons got up and left their plates and beverages while a few others bussed theirs. The expectations of the patrons and the staff were completely ambiguous. Do we need to get our own plates and silverware? Should we bus our own tables? Is there anyone going to wipe down the tables and chairs? Great food and atmosphere but plenty of room for improvement in the front of house operations and seating arrangements. I look forward to visiting again and watching this place grow and mature.

After having heard of this place for years, I was pleased to finally have a chance to try their pizza. The people were nice. The atmosphere was quaint, complete with a cute moment wherein a kitty cat nuzzled our legs beneath the patio table. Then the pizza showed up! The cat ran off. The cheese and crust were mediocre. The sausage was the crumbled kind you find on discount frozen pizza. The spinach was unseasoned dry produce spinach – basically phoned in. An approximate bucket of salt must have been dumped on this lifeless mix in a failed attempt to appeal perhaps to younger taste buds. Yes, three of the four people in our party are pizza connoisseurs from Chicago, but the fourth was born and raised in St. Louis – she spit out the first bite. I personally ate a decent amount only because I was starving and it was my $40 that was spent. Afterward, we hurriedly sped away to an ice cream joint to get the taste out of our mouths. Sorry!

This is not your typical pizza joint - although they do have your typical pizza joint pizzas. This is the place to go if something like this sounds good to you - "Olive Oil, Gourmet Cheese, Baby Spinach, Fresh Tomatoes, House Made Sweet Pecans, Cranberries, Chicken, Bacon, Drizzle of Balsamic Vinaigrette"! That is not your typical pizza, and it is my favorite pizza EVER! They have about a dozen pizzas of varying experimental-degrees and every one I have tried has been fantastic! They are located in the heart of Cottleville. They have a fantastic outdoor patio, a decent selection of some local beers, and a fantastic "Classic" salad! You will not be dissapointed!

A perfect dining experience. Great food, atmosphere, customer service, and very kind owner. Always positive and always looking to better your experience. The food is handled with cleanliness and care. Bill Mayer is obviously lying about his experience due to the fact that it contradicts every other review made of this wonderful establishment. Just a person trying to troll the internet and bring down a friendly family owned business just for pleasure. They are nothing but kind, caring, clean, smoke free, and family friendly people here. So in short, it is one of the best places you can go to in Cottleville.

Great atmosphere, nice outdoor seating with plenty of room. The service is great with friendly staff. The quality of the food is top notch. Fresh ingredients and plenty of options. I highly recommend the Plank Road Classic Salad, two thumbs up! ...and for pizza, The Plank Road and The Oak Street Pizza! Mmmm Mmmmm, delicious! Check this place out, it is definitely worth the visit, I am sure you will go back again and again.

Ordered pepperoni pizza. Sampled a piece of my friends "Plank Road" pie. The pizza was a little too St. Louisy-provel for my taste but it was still better than average. The ambience, particularly of the outdoor seating, was pleasing. The lunch special including a salad is the best option.

The salad and pizza came out quickly, and the service was very plesant. The crust was crispy outside and super fluffy inside, and the lunch special filled me up just fine! Delicious food and wonderful restaurant atmosphere! Highly recommended.

A small gem in Cottleville. With so many run of the mill pizza places around its nice to have one with some different options available. Staff is small but always quick and polite. Great outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

First time there, we got the lunch special. A small pizza and salad for $10. My girlfriend got the meat special pizza, which was a little to greasy for the crust. I got the Buffalo Chicken pizza, which was excellent.

Great pizza with fresh ingredients. The salad that comes with the lunch special is delicious as well. Im not a huge raw onion fan but I thought they were great in it. Well dressed but not overdressed. Just great.

I had high hopes for this place but have been disappointed. Pizzas are small and taste ok but are not worth the prices they charge. The restaurant itself is nice but thats not enough to bring me back.

Best pizza in town, hands down. The salads are pretty damn good as well. Also, Ive read some of the poor reviews about pizza size and price, try Little Caesars if you prefer quantity over quality.

The pizza is decent so is the salad. But it is not worth the price. Its OVER $10 A PIZZA. For a tiny pizza thats only 6 sclices. Im guessing its less than a foot in diameter. DO NOT EAT HERE.

Delicious pizza in a unique eatery with historic architectural elements. Popular place with limited indoor seating, but patio usually has vacancy. Owner and staff are super nice.

Great pizza but a little expensive for a personal style pizza but considering the other options, Ill pay the price. Also they need a changing table in the bathroom.
