The Food was horrible, we spent 40 bucks on nothing, we could have saved a ton and went to walmarts frozen foods and got more of what we ordered, for less and prolly would have tasted better. The portions are horrible, i paid 9 bucks for a combo basket that came with 2 small pieces of chicken, 2 mot. sticks, and about 10 cheese curds, had a raw hamburger and called the manager and spoke to 2 different ones, told them how there food was and that we werent impressed and would never be eating there again, asked for money back and the guy swore at me and told me to call better business bureau. So i will make sure that people really know what kind of food, these rude people serve. DONT EAT HERE!!!!!!

I should have gone with the reviews before i went. The employees are not customer orientated. They just stand around gossiping. I felt very unwanted. Then the slapped my pizza on counter and said wheres that guy, your pizza is here. THey cant even walk ten steps to put it on my table. The pizza was a nightmare. I wanted a taco pizza and i have had really good ones before. This thing tasted worse that if i tried to to make a pizza out of some cat litter and rubber bands. F this place to hell .. I wont be back here. They need to totally re hire every employee and get some dedicated people to run this place. So sad.

The first time I ate at the Shot Tower I was very dissatisfied, with not only the service but the food as well. First, the wait staff got my order wrong, then it took forever for them to get it correct. By the time I received my order everyone else at my table was finished eating. In the end the food was terrible!! The atmosphere was drab as well! The last time I ate anything from the Shot Tower it was being catered and there was nothing but pizza and for a small piece it was $4 a complete ripoff!! I have had better pizza from Papa Murphys!! Never again will I waste money at the Shot Tower!

it may have good pizza but you are getting cheated on the price. management is mean and not respectful to workers and customers. it is way to dark,dirty,and some workers eat the food.The owner is such a cheapo that he will ticket any parked car that doesnt eat at the shot tower inn. it is also in a bad location. i would rather go to wendys then eat the shot tower inn.they have workers go out in the parking lot and pick weeds from the cracks of sidewalks. the food isnt clean and even a good quality.believe it i worked there and it was horrible and i never want to eat there again.

Terrible customer service. The food is awful. And all the workers were extremely rude. they want to rip you off by making you spend more than you need to. I tried to get the combo pick three which it doesntstate in any way shape or form that you cant "double up" and order two of the same thing. They would rather force you to buy a whole seperate thing costing more money which is unnecessary. I am pregnant and I literally just wanted to order what I wanted and sure enough they wouldnt oblige to that request. Never eating here and do NOT recommend it to anyone. Ever. Terrible

Really poor delivery time. When I complained that it took over and hour to get the food to my place the manager was dismissive. I told him that the food was cold and he offered $5.00 off my next purchase. This is not helpful since I do live in Dubuque and will not be going there again. After telling him this he said he would take it off my current bill which he never did. I do not recommend this service to anyone. Post Scrip: After calling a 2nd time to a different manager he did credit my account the $5 and he was a much better listener. Thanks

Another visit, very good! Went back for pizza, hadnt had that before only sandwiches in the past which were quite good. Decent value for the dollar. Plenty of parking in the back, not much in front. Ive eaten there several times and I got about what I expected for the price I expected. More suited for the younger crowd in the evenings.

Our daughter just moved to Dubuque and Shot Tower Inn was recommended to her. It was the best pizza we have had in a long time. We had three pizzas and they were all outstanding. The place was very busy, but they found our large party of 7 a table and our server did a great job. I highly recommend this place. We will be back!

Its an interesting old building - started out as a Shakeys. They have very good pizza, and decent appetizers. The few times Ive been there Ive been able to get a seat pretty quickly. Very close to a lot of activities downtown. Bottom line: Good, and will go there again, though I wouldnt think of it as "destination" dining.

I dont get some of these comments. I prefer Shot Towers pizza over Happy Joes any day. I actually like Shot Towers Taco and their Big Jim special is hard to beat. The only pizza I like better in the Dubuque area is Genos in Preston, Canovas in Galena, and Town Clock Inn just down the street. Their Grinders are awesome too!

Ordered 2 hot beef dinners, was told that didnt meet the minimum amount for delivery. Ordered a combo basket too. When the order arrived there was only 1 dinner, with the combo basket. Opened the dinner and it was awful. The food was old and overcooked. Will not order from there again.

Food is fantastic, always. Bianco tomato pizza is something out of this world! I live close, so i always get pick up, so im not sure how delivery service is. Only suggestion i would have is to sound like you actually want to take my order on the phone. Otherwise, fantastic!

Has always been a favorite of mine as a kid and now my husband loves it to! Though we dont live in Dubuque, we often travel the 45 minutes just to eat at Shot Tower!!! Recommended it to Divers, Drive Ins, and Dives! Hope Guy makes it there! He wont be disappointed!

Moved out of the Dubuque area in 1984, to Texas, loving Shot Tower pizza. When visiting we have to have a Shot Tower pizza at least once during our visit. Just had some friends with us from Texas, and they said this was some of the best pizza they have eaten.

Called to place an order, at 10:30pm. Was turned away by some guy telling me they were closed. Funny thing is that they are open until 11:00!!!??? Shot Tower Inn just lost a loyal customer. Change your hours if your not going to be open when you say you are.

Im surprised the Shot Towers reviews are as low as they are. I love the pizza and most people I know do as well. Ive tried everything from pepperoni to meat lovers to vegetarian and they were all good. Definitely one of the better pizza joints in Dubuque.

We always visit this dinning establishment when visiting The Dubuque area. Good food & service, great atmosphere...A Dubuque eatery icon...A must do. Great for family dinning or dinning in bar area. We tried the chef special a few times...Loved it !
