We were looking for a local place in Vicksburg for dinner and quickly found out that most every place is closed on Monday nights. So we happen to stumble onto Main Street and very pleased we did! Very homey, husband-wife team. Extremely friendly and attentive. Food was delicious! Limited menu - basically get a few choices on whatever is made for that evening, but everything we ate was great! My boyfriend had the salmon and I actually liked it even though I never like salmon! I had the prime rib which was so delicious I couldnt stop eating even though I was full. :) A little pricey for on-the-road food ($50 for 2 people) but WELL worth it if looking for that special dinner spot. Will visit again next time in the area!

Be careful of what you see on their web page. The dinner menu is much different than the lunch menu. Very few choices and very high priced. I had a small bowl of gumbo, and a fruit and iceberg lettuce salad with a thin slice of blackened chicken on top. Oh, it came with 5 or so tiny half dollar sized biscuits. Iced tea. $23.00 folks.

I love eating here, but they are only open Monday to Friday 11 to 2 and Monday nights 5 to 9. If Im ever off on a weekday, I am here for lunch. Great food and great service. Ive never been disappointed!

Staple Vicksburg lunch spot. Only open for dinner on Mondays. Small, but ever changing menu with certain items staying consistent. Great salad and sandwiches. Gumbo is probably my favorite in town.

Great local place in Vicksburg. Best gumbo in town! The lemon chess pie is a classic. Hope for the Green Pepper Corn Tilapia, yum.
