Big portions, nice staff. I liked the idea of a roast beef, shrimp, and chicken fried bacon poboy but the execution was lacking. Couldve used less beef (which was better than most places beef), more bacon, and toasted bread. The gravy cheese fries tasted like they had a different gravy on them which wasnt real like the gravy on the poboy. Finally (and maybe this is nitpicking) the decorative cast iron on the walls was stamped "Made in China". The specials looked good. I may go back eventually but itll be a while since there are so many other choices around here.

SUNDAY Dec. 4, 2016 we go to your restaurant to be told that we will seat you but I have 1 cook and we wont be able to get your food to you. We were not even acknowledged when we walked in the door. The waitress was rude not even nice about telling us how long we would have to wait, basically she ran us out of the restaurant. We have gone there many times before, had the banquet room opened for our group with good food and service. This was the worst I have ever been treated at a restaurant. I dont think we will ever go back.

Holy cow. Soooo much food that you want to keep eating after you are full. We already are talking about what to get next time (pancake stack with whipped cinnamon butter, yes please). Easy to find; North @1/2 mile from hwy 57 exit off of I-10, Reasonably priced, large portions, good variety, quick service both by server and getting our order, clean restaurant, clean restrooms.

Some of the food was okay, other items not so much. Some examples: the eggs, breakfast potatoes, and brown gravy were fine, the cathead biscuit was burnt (literally black on the bottom), the Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were bland, and the orange juice was not good. Country fried steak seemed to be a frozen steak that was cooked without much else to give it any flavor.

When we first tried this restaurant, we were overjoyed that we found the perfect hamburger steak, mac and cheese! Tried three more times. Disapointed and obbiously its not the same cook. The owner should be persistent with the food. I am posting this in hopes that the owner will see this, and not go out of business. Bring back the old mac and cheese!

Good food (breakfast menu), large portions, fair prices, very fast and friendly service, very clean. I really liked this place. If I lived closer, Id go there regularly. It wasnt the restaurants fault of course, but I had to deduct one star for the noisy baby at the table next to us.

We had breakfast. Everything was excellent. The cat head biscuits are very fluffy and tasty. Great omelets. Also the pancakes are fantastic. The potatoes were slightly hard for my taste. The service was also very good. Overall a very nice restaurant.

Seems like this place is hidden from the public. Great food. Service lacks sometimes, but they are never rude. Portions are probably twice the size of any comparable restaurant locally.
