After visiting Nagoya twice in one month, weve decided not go to this restaurant again. On both occasions they messed our orders up. The first time my girlfriend didnt get her food until after we (table of 4) had almost finished eating our food. (They forgot to put her order in.) Then last night my girlfriend & I ordered the Nagoya for two. I ordered my steak medium rare while hers was to be cooked medium well. Both were well done. With only two servers in the entire restaurant (Hibachi side was closed), patrons were not getting water/drinks refills, orders were mixed up and some patrons were walking out. We gave them a second time but we will not go back to this restaurant! SAVE YOUR MONEY! DONT GO HERE!!

We went in for hibachi. They still serve it, but now they do it out of the back kitchen so dont expect a show (this is temporary). The wait staff is nice. They are quick to help you and get you what you want. The food, well, it may be the best hibachi Ive had (filet) and Id say Im a regular hibachi person. The pricing is on the higher side so be expecting it. The sushi is okay and the egg rolls are as well. The environment, it always feels like its just a little bit off. It feels nice and clean, but its seems as if the lights are too dim or the table spacing is too large... something just feels wrong. Other than that, its great.

Came here last night for dinner. Service was good and food came out fairly quickly. I requested 3 rolls with the most raw fish, all 3 came out with very little fish. Rolls werent bad, but its not what Id usually order when I go get sushi. We also ordered udon, it came with a nice plate of tempura veggies. It was well fried, but udon was way too salty. Nothing special about the shrimp fried rice as well. Shrimp were small, rice was a touch dry and lacked flavor.

had a bad experience at Nagoyas I-55 store today, though have had good experiences in the past. Today it began very badly with an old (almost rotten) lemon wedge served on my water. It was truly gross. Then my sushi order took almost half an hour, and it was mediocre in quality. Didnt taste fishy, but the fish was kind of dry and flavor-less. I will not go back to that location. The Madison Nagoya has never disappointed me.

The food is good and the prices are reasonable. However, they have probably the worst staff Ive ever encountered! They are extremely rude!! We had an issue with a roll and one of the waitresses came over and told us that "it is not our problem". She did not attempt to accommodate us AT ALL. There are many many sushi restaurants in the Ridgeland/Jackson area. Do not expose yourself to this terrible service!

I usually go to the Madison location but the Jackson location is closet to where I work and normally I dont have an issue. I called in my order and although they got the order correct, my food tasted burnt like the grill wasnt cleaned good or something and the staff was very rude. Will not go to this location anymore.

Good food. We had hibachi & a decent array of sushi. The hibachi seating area is now closed which is a shame. This restaurant does not receive the traffic it has in years past & had to close the hibachi side. Service was okay.

Have always loved this place and the food is great. However, I mostly order to go & for the last few months on 4 occasions I have called the phone was never answered. Pretty dumb way to lose a 10+ years customer.

Not terrible. Always pore large glasses of wine, but the sushi is not that fresh, the hibachi sauce is runny, and the waiters are always awkward. After 3 trials, I will not be returning.
