I love the sushi here. It is the only place in the Edwardsville area without going to the city or the OFallon area that has high quality sushi. The new Chinese buffet on Troy Road and 143 has some sushi as well, but it is obviously of lower grade. Nori has a large menu with all the standard types of Japanese dishes. You dont have to like raw fish to go here. Nigiri style sushi here is awesome, but a bit pricey. The price is per large piece instead of per small pair like many restaurants seem to do it. The head chef / owner is a very nice young guy who will actually carry on a conversation with you if the place is not packed. But if it is, be prepared to wait a bit, because he is often the only sushi chef at the bar. Atmosphere is nice. Clean and simple with Ethnic touches including the wait staffs attire. It is quiet for the most part other than the small TV running Japanese TV shows/movies and the conversations of your fellow patrons. I recommend the Sunset Roll and the Crazy Roll (I prefer it without the Spicy Sauce though). The Nigiri menu is all great as well. Nori is not cheap, but you get what you pay for and then some.

I go there for Sushi almost twice a week. Their happy hour beats anyone elses! You can select from the entire sushi menu and all the roll are discounted, which is pretty awesome. Waitresses are extremely friendly and the food is incredibly fresh! When looking for a sushi place to eat in Edwardsville, I would go to them first.The price is definitely better than the other place and their happy hour is a better deal. Nori Sushi is a family owned restaurant and has recipes that you cant find anywhere else. Try their Sweet Wasabi, White Dragon and Volcano rolls. :)

Milya McLees. First of all, I am sorry for your wait and bad day. It was middle of a busy all-you-can-eat sushi Tuesday night. First, the other day you went to your bank, and lied that you have never come to this restaurant. Eventually, the bank found out that you lied. Second, I remember that you had a glass of plum wine, but we do not serve straws with wine. Your friend, by the way, had Mt. Dew but he never asked to change his drink. So I assume your and his drinks were fine too.

Went here on a date and the sushi was amazing. I admit I didnt look at the price because I wasnt footing the bill so I cant vouch for the value. Service was awesome, and the place was pretty empty when we went on a Thursday night so we had a nice quiet meal. I will definitely come back here since its much closer than West Ends sushi places and just as good.

The sushi I had was very bland - I usually pick out spicy ones too. The atmoshere was not nice at all - flys in my face and food the whole time. Sushi places need to be clean or people get sick...I was a little worried. I am surprised by all the good reviews here - I admit, maybe I just had a bad experience and wont go back.

Im very picky when it comes to sushi. I have always been pleased with the quality of fish as Nori. The atmosphere is great and the price is actually good for the quality. Those of us who have eaten sushi in STL will appreciate the comparable quality at a more reasonable price! I highly recommend this place.

We took the recommendations from our server and I was so impressed with everything from the presentation of the food to the flavors.this place is to notch.we paid around 25 bucks apiece but we also had lobster that was out of this world.if you like sushi you wont be disappointed

Service was fabulous and the food was good but not great, especially for 30 bucks for 2 people at lunch. Too much pepper in the chicken teriyaki. The place had an odd smell and football was blaring on the tv. Sadly it didnt meet expectations. I will probably not be back.

I cant think of a better place to eat in Edwardsville than Nori. I eat there every week. EVERY WEEK! I always get the sweet wasabi roll, eel roll, and the phil. roll. The customer service is excellent! I highly recommend!!

Every visit to Noris has been a great experience. Sushi is one of my comfort foods & Noris has become one of my favorite places for sushi over the years. Great food at reasonable prices & service/environment is wonderful.

It took forever to get our drinks. There was a baby roach in the straw of the soda. It took too long to come back and take our order. We waited over an hour for the whole experience. This is TERRIBLE!!

This sushi tasted like sushi you can get from Dierbergs! Miso soup was okay but that was about it. I tried their sashimi as well as their sushi rolls and both were less than par.
