One of the best kept secrets in town. While the building they currently lease out of is an older part of the original downtown Maplewood (Gladstone), the goods are second to none. I regularly have to assemble snacks for meetings in the early morning. I use different local caterers and breakfast shops depending on the venue. Every time I use a box of doughnuts from Maplewood Bakery I have people ask me where I got them from. While some comment that it doesnt have a place to sit, the building was only meant as a take-out facility. It isnt a cafe to stop in and sit down. I would highly recommend this to anyone for a few personal items on up to larger hosted events. I find it amazing that no matter how great my presentation materials are, everyone seems to remember the doughnuts...

5 stars for sure, squeezing in a little bit of a coolness factor. Its like a step back in time when quality products were meant for customer satisfaction. It makes me feel like a kid going in this place, with the wide assortment of yummy treats. The stuff is so good you will be planning your next trip back to the bakery. Get some extra, so you can share with your friends and family!

My family and I just moved to this neighborhood 2 years ago. Maplewood Bakery was the first thing we tried. It was love at first sight. We have had bread, donuts, cake and pies from here and everytime they have gone above and beyond our expectations. I will continue ordering our birthday cakes and holiday pies from them. Prices are good. You get what you pat for. Love this place.

Ordered and white cake with lemon filling for our churchs celebration and the entire cake was eaten - and to rave reviews! The cake was moist and there was plenty of lemon filling that was not too sweet and just the right tartness! Thanks, Maplewood Bakery, you made me a hero!

Ive lived in this neighborhood for years, and it never gets old eating the delicious treats from Maplewood Bakery. Hands down, best donuts around, amazingly fresh cakes and delectable breads. It never changes. If anything, it only gets better!

Hands down, the best, freshest bakery around. Their product is fresh, and the prices are reasonable. I also used them for a catering event, and the product was fresh, and ready to go when I needed it! This place is a hidden gem!

I just tried there fresh loaf of cinamon rolls, its too die for. Suggested they could charge a liittle more for there freshness and quality. Great neighborhood bakery, that you seldom see these days.
